The Teahouse this amazing café/restaurant majors in tea of all sorts: hot, cold, creamy, and my favorite Boba. Boba is called by different names either sinkers or jellies, and they are made differently either chewy or juicy. There are a whole lot of different types of flavors each based on the place you get them from.
Nelson and I decided to hang out at the Teahouse mainly because I love Boba tea and just to have fun, which we did. It was literally Monday when we were talking about The Teahouse and how much I wanted to go there, and then the next day we made a plan that needed major editing. LeMaria, the realist, was looking at the plan from all angles seeing from where something could go wrong and how to fix it.
Mainly from how we couldn't pay Lyft, the original plan was to get us both home on time to the point where we would both get home without getting in trouble. But what the major concern to these two lovely people was to get me home safe. I've never been on the Metro without my phone and that is extremely risky when you haven't been to a certain place before. It's scary knowing that you can't even call for help when you might need it. Lucky for me, everything went fine, although I missed my intentional stop. I wanted to see the other bus route that I could take home without walking, thankfully the route known to me was there, so I took it home getting 15 minutes earlier than planned.
When Nelson, LeMaria, and I got to the first bus that would take Nelson and me to the Teahouse, there was a girl around our age that had just bought a snake from PetSmart. A boy sitting across from me was terrified and telling her to put it away. I've been bitten by a snake before, but it wasn't that painful, so snakes are just fine. I can't deal with huge spiders though like tarantulas. I love jumping spiders though.
Once we were at our stop, we walked over to the entrance of the café and instantly I adored the places environment. It's small at the front but has more seats at back, the speakers were playing soft pop, one of my favorite types of music. Nelson had ordered his personal favorite with no sinkers and I got a strawberry green tea and tapioca sinkers.
It. Was. Bomb.
Nelson also even ordered some fried chicken popcorn that was mild in spice but flaming in temperature. I literally felt like my teeth were burned. We started talking and just chilling until we had to leave and when we walked outside I heard the new song that Marshmello released around early March called 'Here with Me' featuring CHVRCHES. I squealed and made Nelson and another guy sitting outside of the teahouse jumped. After we said goodbye we parted ways, and each took our bus home.
That day was my first actual day that I hung out with someone and thankfully it was with my close friend Nelson and LeMaria who helped, couldn't have done it without her.
Thank you guys for the day that will forever stay in my memory. Love you guys!!!
