Jose: DID YOU SEND HIM THE SONG "SI UNA VEZ"???

Me: No, not yet.
Jose: By Selena. OMG, you should because she basically said that her boyfriend, " No vale la pena". YESSSSS
Not worth it
Me: and I just told him to listen to it
Jose: and that loving him fue un eror.
Was a mistake
Me: Lol!!
Jose: BRUUHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me what his reaction is!!!!!
Me: Okis I got you
Jose: I showed to you before right? When we were in business class?
Me: I heard it before you told me about it boii!!
Jose: Yea?!
Me: Omg!!!! 🤣😉Jose: Oof 😂 I have that song on my playlist on Spotify
Me: :😂I told him to listen to the song and he said ok
Jose: Yeah?????!!!!!!!!!Me: YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jose: Didn't you say that he was all up in your business a lot?
Me: Yea
Jose: Y que mas paso entre tu y el?
What else happened between you two?
Me: No mucho
Not much
Me: Ya no mas es que ya no quiero estar con el si el va estar de lloron
It's just that I don't want to be with him if he continues to be such a crybaby.
Jose: hahahahahahahahahahahahah. De que estaba lloranando?
What was he crying about?
Por que tu eras la que se fue?
Because you were the one to leave?
Me: I believe so... It's just that he keeps bothering me with the texts that he sends me. They're so depressing since all he does is complain about how he can't be with me anymore, and the regrets that he has, it's cute to a certain point.
Jose: So.. el te estaba deprimido?
So he was making you depressed?
Me: Basically yeah... and it bothered the shit out of me
Jose: HahahahahahahahahahahahMe: Boiii De que te ries?
What are you laughing at?
Jose: Nothing .. so was he like those kinds of people that were like trying to be romantic but then failed miserably?Me: Yea it just became annoying
Jose: oh ok
Me: Well I got to go...
Jose: Ah ok bye
Me: Bye
Jose and us Mexicans
Jose is a good friend of mine that I met in my 8th-period business class, I like to think of him as my counselor friend. He is really smart and can be extremely funny. To be completely honest I didn't really talk to him until my 2 or 3 weeks of being in %^&*$ high school, but yet again I started as a freshman, who until other people, didn't get to start with the other freshman grade. When I got to my new school, I was extra fresh-freshman, just not in a cool way. I always start in a new school in the same way, quiet in every class except for the ones I excel at. In this case, Spanish, and I think that's what makes me and Jose good friends, our Latina background. Jose was raised by Hispanic parents but was born here in Texas, kinda like me. Jose reminds me of all the Hispanic people I had in my old school, who weren't jerks and wannabe cholos. I think it pains just about every person who is Latina(o), or Hispanic when people think of us as robbers and douchebags. It can be hard to earn respect as a Mexican, especially for males since they are most thought as drug lords, thieves, and drunks. For women, it's more like every single one of us is a slut who works to make money for drugs and our many children due to our lack of general education, and poverty. Unlike the many stereotypes, my mom, a latina made more money than most others.
