Her bare feet dragged on the tile that showed no mercy to her fresh wounds on the bottoms of her feet. Tattoos with a 3-digit number on the side of her neck her neck, two fingers on each hand and both feet: 382. A prisoner that had 63 guards round the clock just for her. She had a facility all to herself yet couldn't go anywhere. Her wrists were bound, and a thick, electric collar rubbed against her neck. Two of them dragged her down the hall with two in the front and another set in the back. Blood dropped against the tile and she could see her own trail. Closing her eyes for a split second she could remember the scent of vanilla that once could be traced around the building. A woman by the name of Olivia Greggory, the title printed on her tag and could be seen as she pranced through the white halls. Unfortunately, she died in a car accident that resulted her brother taking her place. Nothing was ever kept clean and now with only one subject he was stricter especially due to her more recent history. Racking up a little over 28 attempts at escape in less than a year there was more regulations for instance the amount of men it took to simply drag a bleeding 17-year-old that didn't have the energy to take a step. Feeding her little but just enough to keep her alive. No cameras were allowed inside the building and nothing to be kept in her room. 382 was a number, something to be considered lesser than an animal but trained to be a weapon. Keeping her drugged constantly prevented her from forming any decent plan of escape. She had no one to call out for help, a little over 3 years her parents, friends and classmates all met the same fate. There was no use in crying for people to save you if everyone you know is dead. So, she held back her cries for help and her whispers of a better future locked behind a door. Her dull silver eyes glanced at the doors they passed. Stopping the two men threw her into a stained room that stunk of mildew. Her cuffs were chained to the wall and the men slammed the door locked. Forcing herself to curl her head down between her knees she focused on breathing. It was painfully lonely, if she had someone to talk to the pain in her body would go away but instead it multiplies with each ragged breath. Her sheet clung to her arms big bagged down. Clothing stained and old the stench of blood clung to her body.A blaring alarm echoed through the room suddenly and she covered her ears quickly and attempted to get away from it. Her heart pounded in her chest. Her eyes were wired shut but small blue sparks could be seen along her back. The collar suddenly gave a long and powerful shock to her that caused her to slam into the ground as the current continued. Accidentally she let out a scream that escaped her lungs, even after it stopped the noises still pained her ears and made her sick. Tears fell on the tile as she laid there half curled with eyes shut.
The door hinges squeaked open and thudding of boots running across towards her. In disbelief she raised her head and without a second thought her hand flowed blue and strong sparks flew out of it almost Mekong something. The collar reactivated choking her. Grasping her hand around it she tugged and tugged to make the pain stop. Her throat felt tight and her lungs felt like they were on fire. Stopping she gasped for breaths. An unfamiliar hand touched her shoulder, but she didn't have enough energy left to do much anymore. It had all been sucked out by the ring of tech around her neck. She allowed the stranger to undo the chain. Flinching at each movement but soon got desensitized to it. The stranger left the collar around her neck because it was something that didn't have a physical key to it. This one was dressed in flashy pink and silver white. Wearing a shield around their eyes a little communicator could be seen poking out of their ear.
Crouching to where she was the person spoke quietly. "Hey there, we're going to get you out of here. Can you walk?"
Staying silent 382 leaned against the wall to stand up. Slowly taking a step her knee buckled under her and she dropped down. Catching her gracefully was the one wearing pink and white. Helping her back up they hobbled down the empty hall. Their pace was slow put persistent turning the corner the pink and white suited person opened the door. Finally standing to see the grass 382 stopped.
The moon glistened on the grass that was coated in dew. Clouds could be seen but non covered the rock in the sky as it faded into the black canvas dotted with white paint.
"Come on, the jet's here." Coaxed the stranger.
Glancing at his face she showed anxiety on her's. Looking back at the grass her fists tightened. Suddenly she bolted out into the green field. Stumbling everyone and then she zigzag across the land. A low clicking sound could be heard, the thud of a body against the dirt and the glow of energy. The booming noise of gunfire echoed through the empty air. A hissing noise farted around as well followed by a trail of blue. 382 made little physical movement like tuning but the use of her ability was overwhelming, her control over it ensured the destruction of the automated weapon. She had landed on the ground just as she stepped out, but a circle formed around her and 382 suddenly vanished. Another appeared in the air, each one closed before another opened. In the air she stayed for a while, vivid blue covered her arms, her wrists touched then separated to create a ball of energy heading towards it. It appeared to have been absorbed at first but the clear sign of smoke proved this to not be true. One of the blue circles appeared near the ground and 382 stumbled to the ground. Blood dripped to the ground as she coughed. Trying to get back up her body refused.
Her eyes rolled back after saying two simple words in a weak voice. "I'm...done..." Collapsing to the ground she passed out.
The one in white and pink got to 382 first and glanced at the jet waiting near. Another in a red hood stepped into view.
"Come on Nia! We don't know if there's reinforcements coming. Bring her over here and let's get back to base."
"Got it Aurora."
