Chaper 1.3

"She's not in your office Remi and all the cameras are off line."

"What? How?" He sounded panicked

"I-Idon't know but she couldn't have gone far, the barrier is still up."

Lifting her head away from he wall she dashed to the staircase and went down a couple floors below ground level. Pushing open the door she saw a multiple vehicles in a massive open area. Going over to a nearby scrap pile her hand glowed and the parts moved by themselves to form what appeared to be a motorcycle. Nothing connected the wheels to the handles nor the seat but 382 jumped on. Gripping the handles it sped off into a blue circle and appeared outside. Racing at high speeds it went through the terrain with ease until something collided with it. Throwing 382 to the ground the the motorcycle turned to scrap metal. Groaning slightly she got up and pressed her hand against something invincible. The barrier.

Off in the distance fuzzy figures could be made out. Like a runner at the start long she went down low on the ground ready for the pistol fo fire. Her glow flickered leaving the metal stuck on the ground, temporary disable. A brighter blue formulated in her hands and a blue scythe appeared. She stood ready for their attack. Her busted lip made her moth taste of iron, only one eye glowed a more monotone blue than before. The brightness fluctuated constantly as though it was unstable. Her grip on the weapon tightened. There was no more fear or hesitation due to the number difference because they had already
given her enough information.

Nia's ability was activation/deactivation due to how she unlocked the door to find her. Willow had plant manipulation and was also their medic considering she was in the back. Ray had an explosion type, he was jumping side to side without touching the ground. Remi had some type of accuracy and was
visibly the most weaponized. Jack had the same as Ray's, he can replicate powers. Aurora, Sanje, and Ash weren't there, inside monitoring. Those three are probably the least combat ready or capable out of the eight.

She could hear tired on a nearby road turning slightly to see it a few miles down a hill. Looking back at the 5 heroes coming toward her 382 ran straight into their path with the scythe dragging behind her. Once she saw the whites of their eyes the blade on her weapon grazed their armor and sent a whirlwind of dust throwing them backwards. The car had made its way up and by now had parked. It's aerodynamic design suggests it wasn't a neighbor coming over to ask for a cup of sugar. Two people stepped out, one female one male, both were wearing suits and ties. The man held a tablet and was tapping it vigorously before stopping and looking up. One the other hand the lady stood there still as a statue with her hands neatly behind her back.

She pierced the air with her voice."Young lady I suggest you stop this instant and stand down."

Turning to face 382 narrowed her eyes. Her scythe disintegrated into the air and a balled fist replaced it. Standing still like a guard dog told to sit both the man and woman were let inside. As they passed 382's jaw tightened with teeth bared.

"All of you inside. NOW!" She talked in a stern voice as though they were children in need of discipline.

The man clipped a white bracelet onto 382 as he passed by with his tablet following the woman.

"HEY!" Grabbing the lady by her shoulder a red aura covered her as her clothing turned into bright orange. She looked straight into 382's eyes with her piercing yellow ones "You will follow my directions without any trouble or else we will have you be declare a danger to society..."

Startled by the reaction she knew what the woman meant and headed inside.

Taking a seat the woman folded her icicle fingers and spoke with confidence. "You eight had not been given clearance for that mission, acting without approval you even brought a child who is more than dangerous in your custody. How long?"

Ray answered sheepishly. "About 10 hours ago..."

"And how long, If I may ask has it been awake?"

"Less than an hour... ma'am." Ash said casually

"Fine, I'll go to headquarters with it and have the council decide."

"So I don't get a say in any of this? Also, stop calling me "it" I am a living being."

"Well your certainly not human, not with that type of ability and skill set. Honestly this team is in its beta stages and should have never got out on their own."

"Then you have spent too long with your own kind."

"And you have nowhere else to go if I remember correctly everyone you knew 3 years ago is deceased. Tom put her in the car."

"I AM NOT JUST GOING T-" 382's speech suddenly slurred and she toppled to the ground.

No one contradicted her actions and the woman got up and said to the team in a low voice. "Please do keep in contact and next time and please file all of your findings as well."

The man struggled to carry her back. The white bracelet has measured how fast her metabolism was and gave her a proper dosage so that it would do its job but not harm 383. She was slumped in the backseat as the two agents drove in the car down the dirt road.
