Leaping through the air a black figure could be spotted white blue fog trailed behind as it left the small glowing circle in the sky. An explosion could be heard an sirens cried near it. Empty screams filled the air as terror and panic spread like fire through the surrounding area. First responders were already starting to gather before the figure reached the scene, perching itself on top of a building to see what was happening. Orders were being yelled at by the chief to find people yet something held them back from entering. The figure landed on top of a police truck and became clearer. Fake ears could be seen and lines of blue added detail to the suit, a hood and mask cover their face. Attention was drawn by the thud sound made by the landing. The mystery person's feet started to glow blue slightly before they landed in an open area near the door. Disappearing into the building circles of blue, portals, soon appeared with adults and children covered from burns and smoke. Cops outside helped them get medical attention all while the hooded figure was still inside. Moving from one floor to the next the individual was saving them from the fire.Suddenly, without notice the building started to cave in. The charred pile of boards that were once an apparent sat a small girl that was coughing but safe nonetheless.

The hooded figure was nowhere to be seen but someone had caught pictures of the scene, with the exception of the portals since they didn't appear when using a recording device. Within a few hours all of Charlotte saw it in the papers and reported on the daily news. Sure, they had some reports of of having powered individuals before but none seemed to stick around, discussing who could be under the mask and the new vigilante's ideals made morning headlines.

Turning the tv off Black Sheep was in civilian cloths. "There, now the news will only think that you guys are crawling out of the shadows. Making the other groups seem more like a movement for 'powered individuals'." She said to the dumbfounded looks.

"46 is going to have our heads..." whispered Crome as he rubbed the back of his neck

"Not unless you go above expectations. So let's get some sleep for tonight and then we can talk about it."

"So we're not going to discuss what you just did?" Questioned Scarlet with a worried look.

"What I just did was set the playing field so that less people get suspicious. If one comes out then others will soon follow. I'm not part of this team you guys just needed someone else so those reporters don't call you the three musketeers or something stupid." Black Sheep paused for a moment before continuing. "I'll take the couch."

Covering herself with a blanket she faced the back of the couch. Scarlet and Crome whispered about it as, only one could assume, which the overwhelmed Auto, laying in one of the twin beds looking at the ceiling. Eventually, the lights were turned off and everyone fell asleep while the city below was still alive with news.

Waking before the sun Black Sheep took the first shower. A pleasure that she was still not use to but felt nice, relaxing even, for a short time. Getting her suit on she could still smell the smoke trapped within it. She remembered their terrified faces as fire threatened to engulf them. Wondering how it must have felt similar to her own escape from death she brewed a cup of coffee. How she missed something simple as grounded beans and hot water to create the bitter tasting caffeinated drink called coffee. To be treated as human or at least considered to be a living being and not just a mindless thing that bleeds from time to time and makes sounds was unusual, it would be something to adjust to but fighting never changed. She needed to figure a plan to heighten reaction speed and understanding over their abilities. A couple of robberies and whatever else they may come upon in the city would do the trick. It was a strong learning curve especially if they only had a couple weeks with their powers but many, like Arlo, were beginning to develop more deeply into their powers. Still, barely remembering what happened before the training corse up to waking up in the med bay was a complete blank like a wire just snapped, it was just a void, a dark, black, void. Swallowing the hot substance in her throat she put the cup down on a nearby desk the hotel room had.

Looking out of the window she saw the rain clinging to the glass. Traced of the sun could be seen on building windows as it arose from the ground.

"Rain."Black Sheep said to turn to the three teammates still sleeping. "Perfect day for training!"

Muffled groans came from Auto. "10 more minutes..."

"In 10 minutes a building can collapse, a bomb detonated and civilians killed. Your already up so get a shower and you can coffee after."

Crome started to wake up at he word "coffee". Auto got to the shower before Crome leaving him outside the door. Stripping the covers off of Scarlet whim still was refusing to get up.

"S, come on, we have things to do. I'm not your mother."

"Sure act like it waking us up at the crack of dawn..."

"I'll remember that later."

"Fiiiiiinnnnneeee." Scarlet groaned reluctantly as she went into the now empty bathroom.

By the time they all got out the door they go looks from others coming out of their own rooms. Of course they all, except Black Sheep, were in costume. Black Sheep had a little draw string bag she found under the sink that use to hold a hairbrush to store her own suit. Since the news was already discussing about the mystery person in black it would be the wisest of choices to keep where the savior was staying the best kept secret as possible. Even in costume not many gave the little group a glance away from a screen that captivated seemingly everyones attention. Newspapers on the streets had picture of the little girl in the middle of the rubble, the building on fire or the figure standing, looking at the burning building.

They walked to the outskirts of uptown to where the buildings were only one or two flights high and made up of brick. Climbing up to the top of one, the group stood in an imperfect circle to finally talk and allow Black Sheep to slip on her suit as well.

Pulling up the part that covers her mouth before Black Sheep asked to the three of them. "Who's first?"
---------------------------

"You're using emotion in order to fuel your powers and activate them. Pretending like it's just a switch will drain you so how can you not do that?" Said a lean man with a scruffy beard.

He had dark circles around his eyes and smelled of liquor. Scuffed up shoes, a stained shirt and pants was what he had on while grasping an old silver flask with a leather band stamped with a symbol of a snake eating itself. His jet black hair was sticking out everywhere and hadn't been combed in days. A tattoo stuck out of his sleeve that curved around his arm like serpent wrapping around its prey to cut off its source of air. A younger version of herself stood next to him. Her eyes burned with passion, life, and innocence.

Whispering to herself first. "It's like a faucet..." Speaking without an ounce of doubt in her voice. "I use a little all the time and only change how much flows out."

"You ready for your next fight little sheep?" He said as he screwed the top to the flask.
