Leaping from the rooftops were the squad of four, the sky had cleared and the sun was high in the sky. Blood dripped from Auto's head as Crome stood in front of him.

"What are they talking about B? Who's Nick? How do they know you?" Screamed Scarlet as hot tears tricked down her face.

"I don't know what HE wants and I could care less what that is. Hurt my team and I'll get your family, I'll get to your friend, I'll get to everyone you know. However, I'm feeling nice today..." she whispered and slammed the man to the wall, he dropped his gun as a hostage ran from the scene. "Tell Nick that his little lamb... has grown." She hissed in his ear before jerking the thief to the floor and releasing him in order to tend to Auto.

The man and his four other he had been partnered with were all on the ground, many were passed out, and the police had surrounded the building and sealed the exits. Not doing much but stop the bleeding with a cloth that once had been used to polish Black Sheep was now silent with her full mask on no one could tell what she was plotting underneath it all. They were supposed to take care of a little robbery that turned to be an only grudge.

The man coughed. "He talks about you a lot ya know, how you started. Still don't have the guts to kill."

"We're done here, let's head back and get Auto some help." Interrupted Black Sheep before sending the three back to the hotel but not herself.

Grabbing the one that was conscious she dragged him outside and handed him over to the cops. With guns pointed they watched as the Ghost piled the robbers on top of one another. She stood behind the pile facing the guns with hands folded behind her back. Many had shaking hands as tension built in the air and anticipation struck fear in their hearts.

Clearing her throat she addressed them. "I believe that many of you want answers as to why I do this, bring these men and allow me to give you some and additional information as well that you should know."

Hesitation to arrest them made her give a slight sigh before dragging two per car. Slamming the door shut Black Sleep still saw them scratching their heads.

Approaching the chief she looked him in the eyes before speaking. "The linger we wait our chances get slimmer. I am on here on more, how do I put this, official business than taking some pawns down. I'll meet you at the one in first ward."

"Wait!" He called out.

She paused to respond. "Is there something else?"

"Not many people who aren't from Charlotte can tell the difference between the wards. Are you from here?"

Grinning she said. "Like I'd tell you."
--------------------------

"Mind explaining why we're going to this party again Zack? A dress isn't the most flexible thing to work in, how do you expect me to do my job in this?" grumbled a younger Jane.

Straightening his tie the scruffy man straightened his black jacket across his shoulders. "We are not here to fight anyone, mingle with the crowd, see what you can find out by just having a conversation. However, no matter what you don't put your opinion on the table. Don't let them know what your against or what your for."

"Yea, yea, I heard you. No powers, got it." She dismissed before grabbing her handbag.

Her hair had been curled and cut to the length of her shoulders. The eyeshadow she had on made her silver eyes dance in the moonlight once they got out of the car and walked up the marble steps.
---------------------------
To say the least the three of them were pissed, someone whom they thought was trustworthy kept thing from them about why they were really here. Scarlet was the one who got hit the hardest with this realization. No one knew her, she had no records except for that of 3 years. There were no reports, photos or accounts other than she had provided to them, a ghost. Black Sheep hid some parts while freely shared others with them.

Had she done something unforgivable? Who was Zack? Was he alive? How dose she know him? Are the two of them in a collusion with one another? Why was Black Sheep getting defensive? Where is she now? Did she abandon them here? What else was she hiding? What could frighten her this badly? Was she just protecting them? Why Charlotte? Why now? Was Zack some who would help or harm others?

Scarlet was against the wall grasping her head at all the questions she felt nauseous. She wanted to help but what Black Sheep did yesterday and today seemed like an impossible level to get to. Being responsible for all those lives in the building if you took a break more would die.

"She never did explain throughly why Charlotte was a better choice that perhaps San Francisco." Whispered Crome. "To think that we got the one person who is caring the most bur- wait a second, she knew that we'd only get in the way."

Scarlet continued to pout against the wall. "Maybe we should just go back and say she went AWOL and just get another mission. We don't even know why we're here in the first place! No one ever explains anything, they only give us orders."

"We need to get Auto to a doctor. I'm going to ask the front desk downstairs."

Stepping off the elevator Crome could see the tv that was in the wall showed the police department was about to make a statement but what caught his eyes was the headline.
