"So, are we assigned somewhere or is it mostly training?"

"We can request to go to a city that's on a list to do some low priority missions."

Chuckling 13 thought for a moment. "I think I know the perfect place, good variety and some surprises. How do we get suits?"

Crome cleared his throat. "We already filled out files to get designs when we, all of us were, having trouble controlling our abilities and that's when we signed up for this voluntary."

The air felt like a rubber band stretched past its comfort.

Breaking the tension slightly can 13's collective voice. "Who knows, I might have one already and we can start working in the field. Where do we find our suits?"

Auto jumped in to answer. "In our rooms."

Stepping in front of the small group 13 started to walk backward with a smile on her face. "Get your suits on and meet up in the training center in 10."

Racing to her room she could hear the doctor call out a warning but 13 ignored it, excitement and determination flowed through her. She saw something that should have never been there, her old costume from years past. It has slight modifications and details added to it. Putting it on if felt as natural as skin, lines that were badly visible were carved along the surface. Different lines in a piercing blue made the rest of the suit seem like armor covered in a black cloth. She did feel its strength and flexibility, how it could withstand combat, its confidence to exist. Grabbing the mask that covered everything below her eyes and pulled the attached hood over her head. Tucking her hair in 13 headed towards the training center.

Once everyone was there they decided what area they would take as their first operation.

"I always wanted to see Atlanta, Georgia and it's not too bad."

"New York is close to Canada and we can do some sight seeing while we're there"

"Think about he history in Boston, Mass. though!"

"Guys, I already know where we're going but I like the ideas for next time."said 13 as she clicked the location

"I do like the new costume Black Sheep" Crome gave her a smile as she gave him a stare.

"What?"

"We thought since your in a league of your own and a survivor that you should be called Black Sheep." Chirped Scarlet.

"Huh..." Spacing out for a moment Black Sheep looked at the tablet to plan out a mission. "Ok so we'll start off in Ballentine just for a couple practice runs and move further into uptown." She held the tablet for the rest of them to see.

"Shouldn't we be going somewhere that has more crime?" Asked Auto.

"We can't help everywhere, Charlottes known for its banking industry, second to New York, so its quite a big target not to mention its nickname the Queen City and we are now the city's more legitimate vigilantes."

"But we work for an agency, how are we vigilantes?"

"For a company and agency that doesn't exist. If the police catch us then we will be vigilantes. Just a couple of freaks making their own justice."

The pilot came on the speaker. "Drop location in 5"

"What's our landing strategy?"

"Make your own." Black Sheep passes out phones to them. "Whatever you do don't lose this. These will tell you our meeting location once all of you land. It's not my job to keep you alive only to teach you. You have powers so use them."

Pulling the hoodie up she placed the other half of her mask that covered her eyes. A slight whirl and a click till two wolf like ears poked out the top of the hood. Slits were the only thing that marked her eyes.

"Another thing, don't use your com. The sound is unpleasant to some."

"So do the wolf ears do something on your costume ?"

"The mute sound to a more normal frequency for me. The also add character." Saying the last part sarcastically Black Sheep pressed a button to let down the hatch.

Struggling to talk over the wind she yelled. "You have exactly 8 hours to meet at the designated area. Be smart and try to not die."

Leaping from the jet's cargo hold Black Sheep dived into the air towards the ground. Her arp pinned against her side as a couple of screams behind her trailed. Clenching one fist blue light appeared in her palm as she disappeared in a blue circle. Taking only two more to land safely on the ground she found herself in a field. Walking a ways away from her landing position Black Sheep eventually found a road. Slipping the top part of her mask off so that she still had the ears on. Standing in the middle of the road she crouched into a running position. Her heart drummed in her ears as Black Sheep shifted her foot slightly. Blue crawled up her arms as she exhaled. Taking off a trail of light moved quicker than any automobile could skidding to a stop on the outskirts of uptown. Placing the rest of her mask on she climbed up a small building by using a metal ladder on its side. Stretching out a leg as she sat with the other leg close to her chest. Her mask filtered for police reports and marked it with a little blue dot for each of them. Leaping across to another building she caught the sound of a police scanner requesting all units. Grinning under her mask she ran off the edge and portaled towards the scene.
