You guys ever stuck in a group for a project that drives you just a little bit insane? Well, you can blame my "teammates" for the long delay :) Sorry to say that I will have to continue with the random update sort of schedule for this story...though truthfully I'll probably only get another 9 chapters, so I hope you enjoy...happy reading!

*Nathan*

Oh holy shit, I'm kissing Sang. My lips are on hers and she isn't running away screaming.

I'm finally kissing Sang.

Sang, Sang, Sang, Sang, Sang.

My thoughts spin in chaotic circles, spiraling down to the girl in my arms, who I realize is frozen still where she stands. Fuck, I begin to pull away, ready to apologize for rushing her like that when her perfect lips part in a gasp and press forward to reconnect us.

This time I'm the one who releases a gasp of surprise that quickly turns into a sound akin to a rabid growl and I kiss her for real, tangling my hands in her hair and enjoying what is officially the best moment of my entire goddamn life.

Her arms wind up around my shoulders, her own hands finding their way into my hair and the sensation of her nails lightly scraping my scalp sends shivers down my spine. An embarrassing sort of whimper escapes my mouth when she suddenly pulls away, and I'm about to do something pathetic like beg her to continue when she places a finger over my lips to silence me.

Without thinking, I nip at the tip of her finger and her shocked laughter fills my heart with a stupid gooey sort of feeling. However, before I can do anything idiotic like make out with her again, her bedroom door flies open and Phil saunters in..

"Little Bird, those dogs down there are currently in a tug of war with your sleeping bag, will you please go settle their argument before there's bloodshed?"

I smirk at that, those dimwits were so busy arguing over who got to sleep next to Sang that I had the perfect opportunity to have her all to myself. Now I've kissed her and they're still debating sleeping arrangements. Suckers.

Sang clears her throat, glancing at me in amusement when I can't contain my chuckle, before she sends a smile at her father. "Sure thing, dad."

Still smiling good naturedly, she slips past me to walk towards the door, stopping long enough to press a smacking kiss on his cheek. "Wouldn't want anything to happen to that brand new leather couch of yours if they were left unsupervised too long," she jokes and I see Phil's eyes widen in a brief panic as she leaves the room, her sweet laughter lingering behind.

When it's just him and me, the pleasant smile on his face falls into a sly smirk that makes me fidget nervously. "You're looking a little flushed there, son. Everything alright?"

I feel my eyes widen and I nearly choke on my own tongue trying to spit out a plausible excuse. "N-No! I m-mean, uh, yes sir, everything is fine. Just a, um, is it warm in here? I think it's warm in here. I think I should go and um, not be in here anymore...because it's warm in here, that is."

I run a hand down my face, letting it linger over my giant ass mouth in hopes of preventing another rant like that from ever happening again. That was downright embarrassing, and if Phil thought I looked flustered before, I'm a fucking tomato now.

However, instead of staring me down for obviously having been corrupting his daughter, he starts to laugh, the sound starting off as a low chuckle that quickly erupts into a loud bark of humor.

"Oh Nathan, don't look so scared. I'm not an idiot, I know that you two were not standing that close so you could hear each other better, and neither of you look so mussed after a "conversation." I'm not getting my shotgun gun out just yet," he teases me and I can't help the sigh of relief I let out.
