Chapter 16 - Safe at last

Eros POV

I had said nothing wrong. We have talked about it before, but this time she snapped. It was like deep down she was struggling. I try to calm her but she shifted. She looked at me with pain in her eyes. That made me and my wolf hurt, so much deep down I wanted to apologize. She leaped out the window as I collapsed onto the floor shattering glass everywhere. I could sense her, sense her looking at me with those painful eyes.

    Jake was outside the door guarding when he heard the shatter. He came rushing into the room.'

    "Alpha, what happened?" Jake said.

    "She...She...Kyra..Go..Find..Kyra." I finally get out.

    He leaves right away. He honestly was one of the best additions to my pack. Jake still was bonded to her but Kyra wasn't bound to him. Jake could still sense her in a way. He only got 1/2 mile into the forest before I heard a howl of grief. I shift and I'm there within 30 seconds. I find Jake lying on the forest floor.

    "Jake, what is it is she okay?" I say as I shift back.

    "Alpha, I smell blood. I can sense her fading." Jake speaks.

    "Jake listen to me you have to lead me to her so I can help her." I say urgently.

    He gets up and we run for only about a minute till we find Kyra in the worst state ever. Jake collapses at the sight of her motionless body hanging from a tree. You could see not yet dried blood on the ground below her and on her wrists. I run and snap the rope with my hands and lye her down on the ground and check for a pulse.

    "Is she gonna make it?" Jake asks worriedly.

    "Jake...She is still fading quickly her wolf must have tried but is tried now." I say.

    "No! You have to save her. Your mates! Give her your blood!" He screams.

    "Jake we barely even kissed yet let alone mated." I spoke. "I could still do it, but she will have some side effects." I say looking at him. He knew what I was talking about.

    "Yes, You will enjoy the side effects anyway." He says.

    I find a bloody glass shard on the ground. I pick it up and hand it to Jake.

    "I want you to do it" I say as I hold out my wrist.

    He does it no questions, and a little deeper than needed. I put my arm to her mouth and as soon as a drop hit her tongue she started to improve.

    "I will go clean your bedroom before you get back." Jake says then shifts and runs off.

    After ten minutes Kyra regains consciousness and just utters the words "I'm so sorry, I love you."

     I shush her telling her to regain some strength. I pick her up and walk back to the pack house carrying her. I set her in bed and remove my now healed wrist from her mouth. She sits up and kisses me. I back away "Kyra, get some rest." I tell her.

    "I'm not tired, but you know what could help me get tired?" She says as she makes her way to my belt and starts undoing it.

    "Kyra" Thats all I could get out before she had my pants off and was already working her way up to my shirt.

    "Shh.." She whispers into my ear. "I'm dominate now."

    "Yeah right" I say flipping spots and pushing her under me on the bed. I finish taking my shirt off and throw it on the floor revealing my abs to her. She then takes her hand and starts to pull me on top of her. I rip her clothes off of her and toss them on the floor leaving her only in her underwear and her bra. I lean down and kiss the corner of her lips and work my way kissing her up her cheekbone and to her ear where I nibble on her lobe and pull a little on my way down to her neck. I could feel her tensing under me.

    I kiss till I get where I would mark her. I really wanted to but I know she is just basically drunk and horny from my blood. Which is weird but true. So I continue and make my way down her collarbone slowly kissing her the whole way. I attempt to stop because Kyra would not remember anything anyway. But she pulls me down against her chest again. She looks me right in the eyes.

"Eros, I know you want me." She whispers.

"Kyra lets just get some rest okay?" I say forcibly getting off of her.

I tuck her into bed and then I slide under the covers and cuddle her until I pass out.
