Hide n Seek

Quick question: do you guys say "hide n seek" or "hide and seek"???

"No."

"Why not? I'm bored!"

"That's for babies!"

"I'm not a baby!"

"You're the baby Avenger."

"Come on, Uncle Sam! Uncle Clint said he'd play!"

Sam was about to scream. He loves Peter to death, yeah, but hide n seek? For some odd reason the fifteen year old was adamant about playing. It was spring break and he had nothing to do. Aunt May was out shopping with Pepper and Happy claimed he had a migraine.

"Come on bird buddy!" Clint chirped (see what I did there?) "It'll be fun! We can say this is for stealth practice."

"Clint you can't be ser-"

"Hey, Pete! What's up little buddy?" Bucky said cheerfully as he walked into the room. He hugged his favorite nephew.

"Hey, Uncle Bucky! We're gonna play hide n seek! Wanna join us?"

Bucky smirked. "Sure!" He looked over at Sam with a devilish grin, "Bet I could beat you bird brain."

Sam growled back, "No way! I'm far better than you robo arm!"

After little to no persuasion, Peter also managed to get Steve, Wanda, Nat, Bruce, Thor, and Tony in on the game. None of them could say no to a challenge. Well, Vision said no, but everyone coaxed him into being the seeker (with the help of Peter's puppy eyes).

"Ok," Vision sighed. "You all have ten minutes to hide. Once time is up, I will search for you."

How did I get roped into this? Vision thought. He was just about to finish his book.

The timer began to count down! Everyone scrambled off to find somewhere to hide.

Peter was hanging off Tony's back like a baby koala. He insisted on teaming up with his totally not dad. Bucky ran off towards the kitchen, but instantly turned around once his Stupid Steve Moment Radar went off. He caught him trying to climb out a window and onto a very very dangerous ledge.

Steve was dragged along with Bucky that round.

Sam was trying to hide in a cabinet. He awkwardly shifted, careful not to move the big pots and pans next to him. Nat went into her room. Everyone was terrified of going in there anyways since they worried she would kill them for trespassing. Clint was in the vents, no surprise there, and humming the mission impossible theme.

Wanda found a rather clever spot in the training room behind a bunch of old rolled up mats.

"Come on Mr. Stark!" whisper Peter. He pulled Tony with him. They both were rather small, so they found a well hidden cubby in the labs to hide in. Everything would go perfectly if Peter could stop giggling.

Bruce was an anxious mess. He wasn't very good at hiding. He eventually bumped into Thor while frantically searching for a spot.

"HAHA! I FOUND YOU BANNER!" Thor cheered triumphantly.

"Uhm, Thor, that's not how it works..."

"Oh. These Midgardian games are still somewhat confusing to me. COME! WE SHALL FIND A WORTHY SPOT!"

"Inside voice!" shushed Bruce.

.....

Vision sat on the couch as he read his book. The timer went off and he stood up.

"Alright!" he called, "Time is up!"

He started to make his way around the tower. His phasing ability made it more convenient to search.

The first ones to be found were Bruce and Thor. Thor was very loudly munching on his PopTart reserves in the kitchen. Sam was found right after them.

Next was Steve and Bucky. They would've won if the two weren't loudly bickering while Steve was trying to squeeze Bucky into the vents. Bucky got stuck and it took a while to get him out.

Out of anger, he snitched on Clint.

Clint was not amused.

Vision found Wanda once he heard her giggling over the others' shouts. The only ones left were Tony and Peter.

"Hey, Mr. Stark, do you think we've won?"

"Shh kid they'll hear us!"

"Can we watch Star Wars after this?"

"Sure-"

"VICTORY! I HAVE FOUND THEM! DRINKS ALL AROUND!"

Not thrilled with the ending but I'm thinking of doing a part two with Clint's revenge on Bucky
