Peter anxiously tapped his feet on the perfectly polished marble floor. He, along with a social worker named Gwanda, were at the Avengers tower. They waited to meet Peter's new parents.

Suddenly, the door burst open and out strutted the Tony Stark. Following suit was his wife, Pepper Potts-Stark. Her Jimmy Chu high heels gracefully clicked against the expensive floor.

"Mr. Stark," greeted Gwanda.

Tony simply nodded in reply with a smile. Pepper shook Gwanda's hand.

Peter did his best to shrink down into the chair. He felt intimidated by the presence of two of the most powerful people in the world. The very costly décor of the room also made the teen uneasy. Everywhere he looked, Peter saw something that he immediately assumed cost far more than he could imagine.

While Peter was doing his best to shrink like Ant-Man, the three adults were conversing about legalities and paperwork. Tony noticed to boy's anxious body language and excused himself from the conversation. With each step he took closer to the kid, the more Peter seemed to try to shrivel into the plush chair.

"Hey, kid," Tony began. He cursed himself in his head. He wasn't exactly sure how he was to address the teenager that was about to become his son. "Uhm... I'm Tony. What's your name?"

"Peter," Peter squeaked in reply. His eyes barely making contact with Tony's. "I'm Peter Parker, Mr. Stark sir."

Tony softened and knelt down by the boy. He flashed a smile, a genuine smile that very few had the honor of seeing.

"No need to be so formal. You're more than welcome to call me whatever makes you feel comfortable."

"S-sorry."

"It's ok! You don't have anything to apologize for. Pep and I want you to feel at home here."

Home.

That word was foreign to Peter. He had a hard time forming bonds with people. Everyone he got close to eventually ended up leaving. The kid had a history of tragedy. First, he lost his parents to a plane crash, then followed by the murder of his Uncle Ben, and finally, death decided to rip away his Aunt May. Peter had no family left. The only comfort he found was his two only friends, Ned and MJ, and his secret alter ego, Spider-Man.

"-peter. Peter," Gwanda repeated.

"Hm?"

"Are you alright?"

"Oh," Peter looked at the three adults all staring at him, "yeah, I'm fine. I just zoned out for a minute. Sorry."

"The Starks have just finished all of the paperwork. Welcome home, Peter. You now have a mother and father." Gwanda smiled at the young teen she had grown fond of. He was very shy, yes, but once he felt ready to warm up to a person, his loving and joyful interior would shine like the sun.

Peter looked up at his new parents. He tried to hold back tears as the couple smiled at him. Pepper held out her hands and pulled him into a hug. Tony joined and chuckled.

"We need to get moving! You've got a shit ton of aunts and uncles waiting for you upstairs."

"Huh?"

Le time skip

The little family rode Tony's private elevator up to the penthouse. When the glossy doors opened, Peter nearly fainted at the sight before his eyes. There before him stood Earth's Mightiest Heroes. All of the original six as well as Bucky Barnes, Vision, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, and many more stood amongst streamers and balloons. Right above a massive fireplace hung a banner that read 'Welcome Home!'

Pepper smirked and ruffled her son's hair.

"Go say hi," she whispered encouragingly. "Don't worry, they won't bite."

Peter nervously shuffled into the living room and kitchen combo. His old and worn out vans slightly squeaked.

"H-h-hi..." Peter began and gave a small wave. "I-I'm Peter."

A chorus of hellos rang throughout the room. Everyone was immediately under the spell of the adorable boy before them. Once Peter managed to catch his breath, he beamed and turned to his new dad.

"I've got the coolest family ever!"

I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to make this a two part piece. I'm about to go to the beach and I'm WAYYYYY behind on packing. I'll try to post the second part by tomorrow! Thanks for the request!
