Amanda woke the next morning, no one in the bed next to her. She cringed as she sat and felt her back stiffen. She stretched it out and could hearing the popping sounds come from it. A knock came to her door and Allison opened it.

"Good, you're awake." She said. "There's something you need to see."

"Give me a few minutes." Allison nodded and closed the door. She got out of the bed and got dressed for the day. She opened the door and noticed Luther behind Allison. She followed the two to where mom was sitting, turned off.

"No!" Amanda yelled and grabbed mom's hand. "You guys didn't..."

"The two guys last night, the ones with the masks, they did this to her." Allison said. "It has to do with Five somehow. I mean, they were looking for him."

"I know I was arguing to turn Grace off, but it doesn't make seeing her like this any easier." Luther said, sitting in front of mom.

"Poor Diego." Allison said and Amanda popped her head up.

"Diego." She left the two and left the academy.

Amanda stood in front of the boxing gym that Diego apparently worked at. She stepped inside and noticed people boxing. Some of the people stopped and stared at her. She ignored them and walked over to this cage thing where an old man sat.

"Hi toots. You looking to box?" He asked her.

"Actually no. I'm looking for Diego. Is he here?" Amanda asked.

"No. Sorry. Haven't seen him since yesterday." He said.

"Oh alright then. Thank you."

"Hey if you ever want to box, you're more than welcome to try. We got guys a little bigger than you who kick some ass."

"Oh okay, thanks anyways." Amanda left the gym and went to the payphone that was outside.

"Hello?"

"Pogo, it's Amanda. Have you seen Klaus?" She asked him.

"I'm afraid not Miss Amanda." She sighed, knowing she saw him before the shooters attacked the house.

"What about Five?"

"No. Are you alright?" Pogo asked.

"Yeah, I just needed Klaus. I'll find him. Thanks Pogo." She placed the phone back on the hook. She needed something to eat so she went to the Griddy's Doughnut shop and sat down at the bar.

"Hi Agnes." Amanda smiled at her.

"Oh hello dear. It's so good to see you again. Plain chocolate?" Amanda nodded and she looked over, noticing two people staring at her. "Can I help you?"
