Thirteen reasons why is a good show.
Just like every teen show its exaggerated for the drama. A lot of the people complaining about it are the ones that decided to not listen to the trigger warnings. The rape and suicide scenes were by far some of the least graphic scenes that are on TV and in movies. But no body wants to talk about those things so its written off as inappropriate. People also say it romanticizes suicide. If you found anything about Hanna's suicide scene or having to see how her parents reacted good or romantic I'm questioning your sanity. Also every ones so caught up in mainly those 2 scenes that they fail to see the other things the shows handling. Bullying, rape, sexual assault, the abuse of power. I think if these people were to actually read articles from the writers about where they were trying to go with the show they wouldn't be so quick to start making accusations. Finally its not a shows job nor obligation to add diversity, accurate representation, modesty etc. A shows purpose is to entertain, that's it. If the show just so happens to get people talking about something, for example suicide then great but its not mandatory. I for one am excited for season 3.
