Dress code

I think a school dress code while kind of uncomfortable is necessary. I go to a school with a uniform and everyone's always bitching and complaining. They say don't wear hoodies, slippers, make sure you're wearing your school shirt, tie etc. and apparently that's too much to ask. Then when they get detention it's a whole big problem when they knowingly disobeyed the rules. So my school is uniform but I know other schools have normal attire but a dress code. I think some rules are stupid like no shoulders, no short sleeves etc. But some of the people complaining are annoyed because they can't go to school dressed in booty shorts and a crop top with their tits hanging out. It's really not hard to tell what's  inappropriate . Then the guys get blamed "the horny males can't take seeing a girl in a short skirt so she can't wear it" or the male teachers get a accused of being potential pedophiles. Save that shit for the weekends or a strip club it shouldn't be worn in a professional school setting.

Edit: I wrote this chapter a while ago but this is very relevant. Its supposedly sexist that girls cant wear crop tops and short shorts but its really not because those clothing options arent really open to males. You dont see crop tops and booty shorts in the male section of stores. If they want clothes that cover your body than these things not being allowed makes sense. If guys wore stuff like that they that part of the dresscode would apply to them as well. But for the most part they don't so it doesn't. Guys mostly wear athletic shorts and pants, jeans, cargo shorts and jean shorts most of which go below the knee or at least not above mid thigh. As well as full length shirts. Girls have a very wide range of clothing options that guys dont have. But somehow not allowing those specific things is sexist. Its not. The definition of sexist is "characterized by or showing prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex." When guys start wearing more revealing clothing and no one says anytjing then cry sexism but again not being able to wear short shorts and croptops is not sexist. Just wear a normal short and shorts its not hard.
