Many teenagers dont know how to take responsibilty for their actions.
(And it may come off as me sounding high and mighty but im not. I do wrong things too but this and other things is stuff i observe mainly in school as well as online that pisses me off. Stating observations does not mean i think im betfer. Im just saying things that a large population of my peers do that gets on my nerves.)
Now ive already talked about uniforms and phones in previous chapters. And i think their perfect examples of not taking responsibility.
Teacher loses your homework, teachers fault.
You decide not to do the homework consistently and get mad when they stop taking late work or just put in zeroes, your fault.
You get sick and go to the doctor and get notes or just need a few breaks from school no big deal we all do.
You time after time decide not to come to school because you didn't want to do a presentation or didnt do an assignment and other things like that thats on you. I see people getting pissed off because they might have to go to summer school. THATS ON YOH AND NO ONE ELSE. This is a specific one thats more touchy because people are absent for a multitude of reasons. Its the ones that dont care but then all of a sudden care bacuse now it affects thier summer. I think the 9 day absent policy is stupid. 9/180 days is crazy but its still the policy.
Teenagers blaim everyonelse but themselves. Its their parents fault, its the schools fault, its the teachers fault hell its the school system and societys fault even. Yes the school and people in it should be held responsible for certain things to a certain extent but past that if you fuck up thats on you.
You made your bed now lie in it.
