Why Marcus? Whatever we were going to do I didn't want to do it with Marcus. Wait, what did we have to do, now?

"I'm sorry, what do we have to do?" I asked Marcus who was sitting beside me.

He raised his eyebrow, "For a girl who's new you don't really make good first impressions, do you?"

I huffed, "You are the one to talk." He gave me a smile.

"Well, I have to teach you a song, so... Can you sing?", I shook my head. He asked again, "Can you dance?" he raised his eyebrow and I shot him a glare. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry I asked." he paused, "Do you play any instrument?"

Of course... I can play the guitar but... nahh...

I rolled my eyes "Marcus, was it?" he nodded "I'm not really in the mood of  'becoming best friends with the teacher's pet' ", I made quotation signs with my hands "so... yeah, I'd rather just watch my classmates make fools out of themselves. Would you like to join?"

He chuckled, "It'll be my pleasure." he said and put his hand on his chest, acting like he was touched. He then lowered his voice, "To be fair I don't really want to learn stupid things, either." I just laughed quietly.

For the rest of the class we just watched everybody (except us) trying to sing. They were all giving us glares, because we weren't doing anything. Well, they were wrong... we were talking. Sure, we were throwing in a little 'who do you think sings the worst?', 'who sings the best ?'.

"I think she sings the best." Marcus nodded at Angel. I agreed. I could see Angel was really passionate about her singing. Trying to hit every note. Succeeding. But my eyes were drawn to the person on her right.

"But he sings good, too." I nodded at Martinus, "You know, your clone."

"We are NOT clones." he raised his voice a little but loud enough only for me to hear. The teacher didn't shush us even once. He knew we were talking, yes, but he didn't say anything. Our teacher is a cool dude.

I ignored Marcus's angry tone "So do you two share the same voice... mind, thoughts??! Are you gonna take over the world!??"

Marcus just looked at me and said "Ha-ha-ha" even though I could see he didn't find the joke funny.

I rolled my eyes "Whatever, what I meant was... Do you sing?"

He didn't answer. He was just looking at me. I swear, when we were making fun of the students, instead of looking at them, he was staring at me. Gosh, this boy has some serious staring problems.

He didn't answer. In stead he just started singing:

Baby, when you feel like this
When you feel like this
Tell me, do you believe in love?
Baby, when it’s real like this
You and me like this
Does it make you believe in love?

I'll make you a believer
We can call it love
Baby, when it’s real like this
You and me like this
Does it make believe in love?
Yeah...

I just stared in confusion (good, now I'm staring). Do people just randomly start singing around here? More importantly, do they all sing so beautifully?

He smiled at me like he could read my thoughts.
