I sighed and looked out the window. The train slowly came to a stop and I immediately stood up. I grabbed my bag and Prince Eli's cage.

"Andrea, we leave them on the train now." Draco said.

I sighed and put them back. I walked out of the compartment with Draco and lost him in all the people trying to get off the train. I stepped out onto the platform and saw Jack. Jack saw me and ran over. He hugged me like no tomorrow.

"Hey there, kiddo." I smiled.

Jack let me go and ran back to his sister. I walked to the carriages and saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione in one and Draco, Crabbee, and Goyle in another. I was hit with a conflict. I sighed and waited for the next lot of carriages. I got on one and Fred and George joined me.

"Hello, parter in crime." Fred started.

"How are you?" George finished.

"I'm good. How are you two?" I asked.

"We're good, thanks for asking." Fred answered.

"So, you and Malfoy, eh?" George asked.

I sighed and looked out at the scenery.

"Yeah. I haven't really spoken to him much. As a matter of fact, I've been pushing him away. My mental state isn't very stable and I know that I need the help, but I still push it away." I answered.

"What happened over the summer?" Fred asked.

"Who did what?" George asked.

"Well, someone tried to kill me. Ever since then, I went completely emotionless. Lucius yelled at me after the Quidditch world cup because of the lip piercing which started it all. I keep saying that it's because of what Ron said at the world cup, but in all honesty I'm lying. Draco got Harry when we first got on the train. Harry used my full name with a tone he knew scared me. I ignored him. Everything's going to shit. I just want to be a normal 14 year old girl, is that seriously too much to ask?" I answered.

The carriage came to a stop and I sighed.

"Bye you two. Come up with a prank to cheer me up at dinner." I said.

I jumped off the carriage and walked towards Hogwarts. I walked inside with the big group of students and headed to the Slytherin table when someone dragged me out of the great hall. I turned around and saw Snape.

"Narcissa told me about what you've been doing. Show me the mark." Snape said.

I looked around cautiously and pulled my sleeve up to reveal the scratches on my dark mark.

"You need to stop doing that." Snape said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because it's bad." Snape answered.

"What if it's the only way to keep me from doing something I'll regret, huh?!! What if it's the only thing keeping me from going insane?!! What if it's the only way I'm able to stay alive?!!" I yelled.

"Calm down." Snape said.

I pulled my sleeve back down.

"I don't want this!" I yelled.

I stormed into the great hall and sat alone. Most people didn't like me but I was fine with that. Draco sat next to me and Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle sat across from us.

"What was the yelling about?" Draco asked.

"Snape needed to talk to me about something and I got angry." I answered.

"What'd he need to talk to you about?" Draco asked.

"Y'know, stuff." I answered.

"Ok." Draco replied.
