Chapter 55

It was the day of the final task and the champions were excused from classes to prepare. I was outside with Cedric and Harry training. We were running laps which was easy for me.

"Come on, boys! Keep up!" I yelled.

"We're not werewolves like you! We can't keep up!" Harry yelled in return.

I laughed and started running backwards.

"Not because I'm a werewolf!" I yelled.

I smirked and lifted the singlet under my transparent green shirt up to reveal my abs.

"I practice, buddy!" I yelled.

The two looked at me in shock as I chuckled.

"Pull that shirt back down young lady!" I heard the familiar voice of Draco yell.

I pulled my shirt down and turned around again. We finished off our lap and stopped.

"Alright, that was good. Go take a break you two. Come back later for more practice or else I'll come and get you myself, and you don't want that, just ask Draco here." I said.

"You don't want it, she'll embarass you." Draco said.

I smiled sweetly at the boys as they left. I looked back to Draco and he refused to hug me.

"Nope, you're all sweaty and smell terrible." Draco said.

"Rude." I huffed. "Anyways, I promised Kasey that if I had a break I'd watch her and her friends work on their group project."

"Nooooo, it's my turn!" Draco huffed.

"Sorry, but I promised." I said.

"The boys are coming back." Draco said.

"Good, we can get on with our training." I replied.

Draco chuckled and we quickly kissed. The boys arrived and Draco left smiling at me.

"Alright you two, what do you's want to work on next?" I asked.

"Anything but running, please." Harry answered.

I laughed.

"Alright, alright. Let's see.... There's nothing else really to work on. You guys can go now, were done. See yous tonight." I said.

"Yes! See you two tonight!" Cedric cheered.

"Alright, Harry, go hang out with Ron and Hermione. I'm going to be hanging out with Kasey." I said.

We all walked up to the castle together and we're stopped by McGonnagall.

"Is it five pm already?" I asked.

"Yes, Miss Benton, as a matter of fact it is. Now go get changed you three, then meet me here." McGonnagal answered.

We nodded and ran inside. We ran straight to our common rooms and I went up to my dorm. I ran in and kicked Alex and Draco out. I quickly changed into my outfit which had been approved by Snape and Dumbledore.

I'd had the shoes specially made just for this. I breathed heavily as I tied up my shoelaces. I quickly ran out of the dorm and to where McGonnagal wanted to meet. Cedric and Harry were already there.

"Sorry about that, had to find my jumper. I made it myself so I had to wear it." I said.

"It's alright." Harry replied.

I smiled at him and we all headed out. We headed straight for where the final task was. Fluer and Viktor were already here. Cedric, Harry, and I all walked over to our entrances. I tried to shake out the nerves I was feeling at that moment, but it didn't work. We all looked out to the crowd and I looked for Draco. I found him standing with Pansy, Blaise, Crabbe, and Goyle. Draco smiled warmly at me but that just made everything worse. I could tell that my pesamistic side started to show on my face, as it started to appear on the inside. I tried to breath and calm down. Everyone had someone representing them. Viktor had Karkaroff, Fluer had Maxime, Cedric had his dad, Harry had Moody, and I had Snape, no idea why.
