Going Back at School

Maddison Parker P.O.V

Since I'm at home trying to heal, I think about the talent show, and what Clark's response would be if I decided to do it or not. I wonder if I should text Clark to see what he wants to do, since we need each other to make it a success for the school. Plus, Mr. Troy thinks we would be like the "Dynamic Duo"(being Batman and Robin). I wonder if Clark thinks the same way, doing this if I do, and not going if I don't.

A few days later

As soon as I go back to school, I make my first stop at Mr. Troys office to give him my answer. I'm pretty sure I still have marks on my face because he asks me if I was ok. I say, "Yea, I'm good, just slept funny". He says, "ok, just wanting to make me my prized composer is doing well".

"Yea, about that, I'd love to do that, as long as Clark says he wants to. If he doesn't want to do this, I don't want to either". He tells me that it's ok, and that he'll see what Clark has decided. He asks me if that's all I needed, and I say, "Yes sir, that's all. Oh, and can you tell Clark that I'm doing alright? I haven't talked to him since last week, and I don't him to worry about me". He tells me he can do that, as soon as he meets up with him.

As soon as I open the door, I see a goofy look on Clark's face, and all I did was smile at him, and I give him a little chuckle. That's all I was able to get out of me because my face still hurts a little.

I quickly make my way to history, for once in my life because we're about the 1950's. I might finally learn why Clark loves old music so much, and maybe I'll write a love song for him, and serenade it to him. But for now, I'll have to wait till I see him in music and see if he decided to go to the talent show, and ask him if he likes me. I think he does, but I want to make sure he really does.
