It was early. Jungwoo was finally back in his own bed. He was still exhausted and emotionally drained from visiting Lucas' house and, for some reason, could not fall back asleep.

He slowly inched his way out of bed and tip-toed over to his desk, where a shirt was folded over the chair. Quickly and silently, he changed out of the shirt he was wearing and into the other one.

It was actually one of Lucas' shirts that he had taken from his house when he was there, but he didn't him out of fear that he would get angry.

The shirt was so long that it covered his boxers. He loved it because it smelled so much like Lucas did. Snuggling under the blankets, he probably would've been able to fall asleep a lot easier had it not been for Taeyong's dad who barged in.

"Jungwoo, we need you to leave."

Jungwoo looked up at him, fear in his eyes. "W-what?" He whispered.

"You're a bit troubling, we're sorry we have to do this. You just take up so much space here and Taeyong needs some more room. And you always bring that one man over and there are too many people over at our house because of you. You need to go. Now."

He started crying. Again. Why can't he just have a break?

Jungwoo was frozen. He still needed to process it.

Taeyong's father became impatient. He ripped the blankets off of him and grabbed him by the healing arm, yanking him out of bed. He yelped.

"Please just leave."

Jungwoo began to try and gather his belongings but only managed to grab a pair of sweatpants  and his phone before he was yelled at again.

"Now."

Jungwoo put on the pants and rushed out of the house. It was raining.

He shielded his phone in the zipped pockets of the sweatpants and ran down the street, all the way to a bus bench with an awning overhead.

He sat down and hung his head low. He could hardly believe it. He was kicked out. He couldn't bring any of his things. Taeyong must have wanted him out, too. Maybe...

Maybe he really did need Seojun after all.

He pulled out his phone and called Lucas. He doubted he would answer, as it was still very early in the morning. However, despite what he thought, Lucas took the call.

"Good morning. Why are you up so early?" He asked in a sleepy voice.

Jungwoo put his hand over his mouth to muffle his sobs. Lucas still heard him.

"Hey, what's the matter? Are you okay?"

He coughed out a sob. "Can I come over?"

"Yes, of course, why-"

Jungwoo hung up, knowing he wouldn't be able to stand being without Lucas for any longer. He put his phone back in his pocket and ran back out into the rain in the direction of Lucas' home.

He knocked on the door. Lucas immediately answered and stared at him in shock.

Jungwoo looked up at him pitifully. Lucas softened. "Come here, baby." He held his arms open for him.

Jungwoo refused. "I'm all wet, you don't want-"

Lucas cut him off by pulling his soaked body into his, bringing him inside the house and closing the door behind him.

When he pulled away, Jungwoo spoke. "Hit me, "He said, not making eye contact.

"J-Jungwoo..."

"I said, hit me."

"I'm not going to hit you."

"Hit me please! This is the only way I'll know this is all real!" He shouted.

"I will never hit you, do you hear me?" Lucas said harshly, but kept his voice below a yell.

"Do it!"

"Tell me why you came up to my door completely soaked at four in the morning, then!" Lucas went to gesture to the door behind him, but his hand made it awfully close to Jungwoo.

Jungwoo assumed he was really going to hit him just then. He didn't expect it. He put his arms up in front of his face as he flinched.

Lucas put his hand down and his face fell. He hugged Jungwoo tightly. "I could never hurt you. I won't ever do it, I promise."

Jungwoo sobbed loudly into Lucas' chest. Lucas rubbed his back to calm him down. He brought them to his couch. His parents were currently out of town, but Renjun was still sleeping upstairs in his room.

Lucas sat up and held Jungwoo in his lap while he explained. He kissed him wildly once he was finished.

"Take off those clothes," Lucas said, holding a throw blanket, "Cover up with this while I get some other ones."

Jungwoo nodded as Lucas turned around. He frowned and told him he didn't have to. They weren't doing anything inappropriate anyways.

As he took the shirt and pants off, Lucas studied him. He noticed how sunken and visible his ribs were. He saw the bruises and cuts that littered his white skin. Some looked relatively new. But one thing that caught his eye was a large, faded scar on his hip.

"What's that from?" He asked.

Jungwoo looked down at the scar and back up at Lucas. "Oh...um...he cut me once..."

Lucas ran his hand over it. He saw one on his thigh too. As he kept looking down, he saw a gash, one that was sealed with stitches and was still a little pink.

"That's where you got the titanium, right?"

Jungwoo snapped his head up. "Y-You...you know?"

He meant Doyoung. "Of course I do."

"Do...do you think I'm a murderer?"

"Why would I?"

"Stop crying, you're so freaking annoying. It was your fault anyways." Seojun scowled at him as he walked by.

Jungwoo looked up. "W-what?"

"You jumped in front of him but he still died. You failed him. I don't see how you can live on knowing that. You killed him. You're disgusting."

His heart broke. He never realized that.

Jungwoo raised himself up and got his crutches, beginning to make his way to the front door. Before he could get there, Seojun tripped him causing him to tumble to the ground, each crutch hitting his back when they fell, too.

His healing leg was in searing pain. He clutched it and cried out, which only angered Seojun. He walked by and stepped on his gut.

Jungwoo still crawled towards the door. He managed to get himself up and look off the terrace. They were on the second level.

Seojun was right.

He pushed himself off without much thought.
