One week later

Ziggy and Dean were sitting next to each other in the Diner.

"What can I get you two?" Leah Patterson Baker asked them as she flipped open her notebook to take down their order.

"I'll have a black coffee and a bacon and egg roll, please," Dean glanced at the menu in front of him.

"Ziggy?" Leah said.

"Just a flat white," she answered sheepishly.

"Are you sure you don't want anything to eat?" Dean wondered.

"Nah, not hungry," Ziggy shook her head.

"Okay, I'll be back in a minute," Leah jotted down the information.

"So, how are you doing?" Dean dared to ask.

"Please don't, Dean," Ziggy groaned in response.

"Zig, I'm worried about you. How are you, really?" Dean's green eyes widened.

"I'm just tired," Ziggy sighed heavily.

"Why? Are things crazy at your house ?" Dean wondered.

"Um, yeah, it's really hectic," Ziggy mumbled to the floor.

Just then, Ziggy saw Simone and Brody walking in.

"I had a lot of fun last night," Brody grinned at Simone.

"Me too," Simone caressed his cheek with her fingertips.

Ziggy's face fell as she watched her husband with Simone.

"Do you mind? People eat here," Dean hissed at them.

Simone and Brody broke apart and they noticed Ziggy for the first time.

"I'm so sorry, Ziggy," Brody seemed genuinely remorseful.

"I don't care," Ziggy said as she stood up and stormed out of the diner.

"Your order?" Leah held out the coffees and breakfast roll over the counter.

"Thanks, Leah," Dean chased after Ziggy.

Ziggy worked at "Summer Bay Auto", the local garage in the town.

She was leaning over the bonnet of a car.

"Zig, it's your day off," Justin Morgan commented as he walked in.

"Well, we have loads of jobs to do and I have nothing better to do so, here I am," Ziggy told him.

"You've been working a lot lately," Justin observed.

"I need the money. Is that so wrong?" Ziggy said.

"What do you need the money for?" Justin put his car keys on a table in the office.

"Lawyers are expensive," Ziggy declared as she cleaned her hands with a rag.

"You're divorcing Brody?" Justin asked.

"Well, I don't really want to be married to someone who's in love with someone else," Ziggy said.

"I get that. I'm not exactly Brody's biggest fan right now, but there's no rush to get a divorce," Justin added.

"Brody has been perfectly clear about how he feels about Simone and how he doesn't feel that way about me anymore," Ziggy put in.

"I still can't believe what Brody did," Justin confessed as he leaned against the car.

"A week later and it's still hard to process," Ziggy murmured.
