"We need to go, now!" Quinn shouted, rounding up Lee, Mason, Zion, River and myself.
Quinn led the way, pushing and punching guards out of our way. Slipping past the large red exit door, Leighton held up the blueprints Zion had stolen for us.
"Directions, Lee! Directions," Zion shouted, ripping the map away from Leightons' grasp, "It was upside down, moron!"
Guards were running in our direction, "Em, guys, we might need to some fucking directions right now!" I shouted, barely audible over all the voices.
"Left, go left!"
Turning left, a guard came running at us, rope in his hands. Quinn sprinted at him, his fists raised. His calm face now mixed with determination and love.
That's the honey pot I love.
"Go without me!" He shouted, the most dumbest comment the smart arse has to ever made.
Running over to help him, I grabbed the guards gun before smashing it down on his temple. Te adrenaline finally kicking in.
I grabbed his hand, catching up the rest of the guys. "After all those hints about team work and your already trying to get us to leave you behind. Nice try."
Cole and Beryl had caught up to us, several guards chasing after them.
"Oi, Cole, I thought you said there weren't many of them!" Beryl shouted, a mixture of annoyance and excitement hidden in it.
Cole sent a look at Beryl, a hidden challenge embedded in is holy smirk. "I might have forgotten to count a few heads," He quickly turned round to throw a punch, "You haven't lost your fight already, old man?"
"Ouch, I think he might be right on that, old man." I teased, running further away from Beryl before he would punch me instead.
Leighton, who was holding the blueprints for Paradise, suddenly stopped, his head frantically looking from side to side. "Wait, where's Kee and Zero?" Leighton called out, noticing we weren't all here.
"River's missing too," Mason shouted, confusion lacing his tone. He looked up a me, his brows furrowed together, "He was just behind us."
"They needed to go get something," Cold shouted, urging us to keep on running, "They'll be right behind us, just keep moving."
The first three here and all three have gone in a different direction. I don't want to force them to talk but some secrets shouldn't be hidden. I mean, we all love each other no matter what, right?
We continued running, guard after guard continuously attacking us. Leighton had shouted back to us that we would be near an exit soon, but soon isn't soon enough.
Mason's frantically gripped onto my shirt while guards grip tightened around his shoulders. "I would kill you if I was allowed!" Mason screamed, panic rising in his voice.
Suddenly the rugged guard pulled out a knife, the silver shining like the moon. The moon, which Mason hasn't seen for five years yet I see it everyday.
A sharp pain lodged itself in my shoulder, a burning sensation ripping through my flesh. I had pushed Mason to the floor, his ocean eyes registering what's happening. His face was splattered with crimson blood, his white shirt becoming abstract art with blood.
"Lu-Luca?" Mason's eyes were wide, his bottom lip jutting back and forth, "Luca! Cole, Beryl, help me, please! Somebody!"
Everything was spinning, little black dots dashing about in front of me. My breathing m became more shallow, the pain slowing down everything. Three blurry figures crowded around me, their voices raised and panicked.
Huh, death never felt like this before. Maybe they upgraded it?
"We have to leave, Keegan's got a car waiting for us!" Cole shouted over his shoulder, hulk smashing
people who came to close to us. Leighton likes hulk, no, Leighton likes games. And Leighton like Cole. Two arms wrapped around me, lifting me up in the air. The blood was everywhere, dripping onto the floor like a waterfall. And it wouldn't stop, when I put my hand to it, it would just go everywhere. Band aid, a band aid will help.
(I'm going to die.)
A dark haired and sculpted face ran closer to the shouting voices. A blinding white light flooding everywhere. Green grass, grew tree, the blue sky (as blue as Leighton's eyes), the sound of birds and water.
"We're out, Lou bug, we're free," An Irish voice shouted, picking me up from someone's arms, "This is going to hurt, Luca, and I'm sorry." He voice weekly mumbled.
I was laid down on something soft and warm, hiding the smell of fresh air, leather now invading everywhere. A door slammed and several eyes looked down at me, hands in my hair, on my face, everywhere.
Peace, that's what I've wanted from the beginning, peace.
Hands pressed down on the bleeding wound, something tight wrapping around it. The pain and darkness mixing together. Trying to push away, I was held down with only broken smiles for answers.
Every movement sent shocks to the wound, like it was on fire, slowly collapsing into ruins. 'Stop it' I want to shout, but I can't, I'm too tired, I just want to sleep.
"We're in a car, Luca, and now where driving away," A boy with blonde and blue eyes soothed, tears staining his pale face, Mason. "We're going home, all of us, we're going home, finally." He pressed his lips to mine, the bitter taste of copper in my mouth was the last parting gift before everything went dark.
