We get into the car and head our way to Starbucks. Zach hooks up his phone to the radio and starts scrolling through his playlists on Apple music. "How long is this going to take?" Casey yawned. "The music or Starbucks?" Lillian laughed. "Both probably." About ten minutes later, we finally reached the drive-thru for Starbucks.

After everyone ordered their drinks, I told Zach, "Can I get a grande iced coffee with almond milk, sugar, and creamer with a chocolate croissant?" I give Zach the amount of cash he needs for the drink I ordered. As we're pulling out of the driveway, Jenny turns the radio up. The song on the radio currently is Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye.

Ten minutes later, we finally get to the school. Thankfully, we have a little time to walk around the school before we have to report to homeroom. We all get out of the car together and walk into the school together. Casey leaves us to go hang out with his theater friends, and Zach leaves to go and hang out with the rest of the football team. Jenny, Lillian and I stand around our lockers on our phones and just basically stay away from any other people walking around. My school was pretty much my escape but hell at the very same time. It was better than home anyway.

My school was full of jerks and assholes who don't care about anyone around them. The girls, are petty and cause drama for no reason. Especially, this group of three girls. Amy, Savannah, and Sarah or as we would call them, the ASS holes. "So Bec, do you have anything to do this weekend? Or are you working?" I look at the calendar on my phone. "If I would, I could Lilli. But, unfortunately, I do have to work. And then I have dinner with my family, sadly. My brother is coming in from Utah though." I smile. To think my brother would be flying in from Utah amazes me. I didn't even think he was going to come home after what happened between him and dad a few years back before he left for college in the first place.

"Hey, Becky," I hear a voice behind me. I turn around behind me and there was the tall, muscular boy that I despised with a burning passion. "Tyler, what do you want?" I can just think about the memory of when we dated in Junior year. He sighs. "I just wanted to tell you I got a schedule change because of the classes I was taking. I just wanted to let you know we had homeroom together." he smiles slightly. "Okay, Tyler, get to the point," I say rolling my eyes. "Okay, I thought we could get over what happened last year and be mature about it. I mean, I know, I did something wrong. But can't you just forgive me?" he chuckles. "Not, but I just wanted to ask if you could show me where Mr. Perkinson was but never mind, I'll ask someone else," he says walking away. I sigh, and roll my eyes and turn myself back towards Lillian and Jenny. "What an ass," Jenny says facepalming. "Can't agree more." Lillian sighs.

The bell finally rings to go to homeroom and we all part. I make my way to the second floor to go into American History. I make my way in and seat myself where I usually sit. In the back corner, next to an acquaintance Jesse. "Hey Rebecca," I smile slightly. "Hey Jesse, how was your winter break?" I ask as I slightly turn my body to face him. He sighs. "It was okay I guess. I mean I got to see my mom," I smile. "That's good!" The late bell rings and a minute later, the door opens and Tyler walks through the door. I roll my eyes as he gives Mr. Perkinson his pass and looks around for an empty seat. Then the only empty seat in the class is the table next to Jesse's and mine. I lean back in my chair and blow a couple of bangs out of my face.

*later*

It's finally 7th period and I'm ready to leave, go to my shift, and go home. Or hell number two. I put my bag, my phone, and lunch box in my locker and grab my shirt and shorts and strip off my shirt. I put on my uniform shirt and untied my shoes to slip my jeans off. I pull up my shorts and tie the drawstring as I put both of my feet into my Nike running shoes. I put my hair up into a messy bun and a Nike headband.

I head out of the locker room out to the track to meet my gym coach and the rest of my class. I have Tyler in this class too. I run around the track for the remainder of the period.

Finally, after a long period of running, my coach blows her whistle to go back to the locker rooms to change. I change back into what I came to school in and pack the rest of my bag together. I make sure my gym clothes are in my locker along with my gym shoes. I pull out my lunch box out of my locker and lock it up. I exit the gymnasium and enter my way out of the school. Since I had to work after school today, I was walking to my job. About fifteen minutes later, I finally get there. I put my belongings in the lockers in the back with my name on it and then I get changed into the shirt we're supposed to wear. I go out to the cashier and wait for customers to come to the register and check out. We have our usual's buying records or instruments.

The bell rings that let us know a customer comes in or comes out and it's an unfamiliar face. He stands with crisp slicked-back brown hair wearing black ripped jeans and a white t-shirt. I've never seen this person in here before. I thought to myself. "Hello and welcome to Bailey's Records and Instruments Store," I say smiling. The boy rolls his eyes and continues to look at record pieces of vinyl. After a few minutes of people walking around, someone finally walks up to the register. I smile at the face I see as I ring up his items. "Is that it for today Niall? You usually get more records." Niall Horan. He comes in just about every day buying some type of music or something for an instrument.

He sighs. "Yeah, I was just picking up something for my friend, Liam. You probably know him. Goes to Webber High?" I think to myself trying to think of any Liams I might know. "Oh, yeah. Liam Payne right?" He nods yes.

"Yeah! That's him."

After a while of talking to Niall, he leaves and the mysterious, sea blue-eyed boy walks up to the register. I stare at him for a minute, falling deep into his eyes. "What are you looking at?" My face goes red. "Oh, nothing. Sorry, I was thinking of how this is a really good song." He shrugs. "How much?" he asks pulling out his wallet. "Oh, um 7.54." He looks up from glaring at his feet and stares at me with his tantalizing sapphire eyes and smirks. He gives me a ten so I give him his change and he leaves. For some reason, he's different than other customers.
