twenty-one☆

I hop off the motorcycle and head upstairs towards my room to start my homework for the day.

After a while of doing work, I get a call from Casey. "Hey, what's up?" He hesitates over the phone and starts breathing heavy. "Can you meet with me and the gang at 5 at the diner? I have something important to tell you guys." "Of course Cas, whatever it is, I'm here for you. 100 percent." 

I head downstairs and I walk my way over to the diner. I plug in my earbuds and I turn on my classical playlist on Spotify. Destiny's Child 'Say My Name' comes on. I hit the button so I can cross the street and head across as soon as I see no more cars coming.

After a few minutes I finally reach the diner. The whole crew is already in here so I sit down at the booth and Cas looks upset. "What's wrong?" I ask. He sighs. "It's not that I'm upset I'm just worried you guys won't accept it."

We all hold his hand. "We are all here for each other through thick and thin. Whatever it is we will accept you." Lili says and we nod along. "Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it. I'm um..I'm gay." We all smile. We all get up from the booth and give Casey a big hug. He smiles, accepts the hug and starts crying happy tears. "Have you come out to your mom and dad yet?" Jenny asked. "No, I'm afraid they won't accept me. My dad is homophobic." We all sigh and bring him back into another big hug. "If you ever need a place to stay, you can stay with me at the hotel." I say smiling.

We hang out around the diner for a little bit and then I look at my phone for the time. "Shoot! You guys I gotta go, I still have a load of homework to do." Jenny frowns. "Do you need a ride home, Bec?" I sigh. "No it's fine I'll walk." "Okay." I run out of the diner and head towards the hotel. I cross a few streets and within a few minutes I end up in front of the hotel. I walk inside and wave to Helda and head up into the elevator.

I close the door behind me and lock my door behind me. I head into my kitchen and clean up the few dishes I have sitting there and then I head into my room to finish up a couple of more projects for Mr. Perkinson. I look at the time and it's seven. I put all of my school stuff away and hop into the shower. I wash the dirt off of my body and let my fingers run through my hair washing out the shampoo and conditioner. After a few minutes of standing there in the shower I finish. I hop out of the shower and slip on the tile. I bang my head on the tub and I pass out.

It was a few hours later I woke up in my bed with clothes on and Helda laying next to me. "What happened?" I asked rubbing my head. "You fell and hit your head really hard. Thank got the person below you called me so I came to check on you. You got a concussion." I yawn. "What time is it? I have school tomorrow!" "Dear, it's only 11:30." I sigh. "Okay." I yawn and roll over and fall back asleep.

I wake up by the sound of my alarm and put on a blue Ron John Surf Shop shirt  on with a pair of lululemon shorts and put on my white vans and brush my hair. I go into the kitchen and make some pancakes and eggs.

After I'm finished eating I head back into the bathroom and I brush my teeth. I grab my things and head downstairs and meet up with L. "Anywhere you wanna go before we head to school? You're like 45 minutes early." L says plainly. "I rub my fingers through my hair. "A coffee maybe?"

I get on the motorcycle and we head to the cafe. I order what I usually order and he orders himself his black coffee. We sit at a table and wait for our coffees to be brought to us. I get out my phone and start scrolling through Instagram posts on my feed, liking and commenting on most of them. A waitress brings us our coffee after a few minutes of waiting. "Thank you." I sip on my coffee and continue scrolling. "Are you even going to acknowledge that I'm here?"

"Oh, sorry. How was your evening last night?" I say putting my phone down. "It was alright until I heard you fell." I sigh. "How does everyone know about everything around there?" L laughs. "Words do spread quickly." I laugh with him. "I guess so."

After a few minutes of talking I look at the time. "We should probably get going soon schools starting soon." I say. "Finee." He puts down fifteen bucks on the table and we walk out.

I get on the motorcycle and put on his helmet. I put my phone in my pocket and he takes off. Ten minutes later, we reach the school and I head inside with L getting more looks and stares than I did last week. I sigh and walk towards Jenny, Lilian, and Kaelyn. "Hey, where's Cas?" Jenny shrugs. "I think he's with his new boyfriend." 

"Woah, woah, woah. Boyfriend? Who!?" I smile brightly. "Mr. Liam Payne." I laugh. "I'm so happy for him!" Everyone else smiles. "Hey, uh, I'll catch you in homeroom okay? I'm going to try and make some friends with people." I nod as he walks away. "Speaking of boyfriends.." Lilian says looking at L. "Absolutely not." I laugh. "That is pathetic. He is just a friend." Lilian giggles. "That's what you said about all of your ex boyfriends." she says exaggerating it. "Would you stop!" I laugh. The bell rings to go to homeroom and we all depart and go our own separate ways.
