The rest of the ride was quiet. I had so many thoughts running through my head. The first thought being what would happen if I go back home? I mean when my dad tells me not to do something and I do it anyway, it's scary. What would he do to me? I shiver I rub my arm to feel that I have goosebumps. The next thought on my brain is the fact of what exactly was Tyler going to say? I've been thinking about it all day long and it's been driving me insane. I somehow feel cold throughout my whole body. "Bec, are you alright?" Jenny asks. "Oh, um, yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking about what supplies I need."

We finally get to the craft store and I hop out. Jenny plops out of the car as well as locking it. We walk together into the craft store and go separate ways to get what we both need. I pick up different colors of construction paper, glue, a flag to glue on, a trim to put around the poster, poster board, sharpies, other markers, colored pencils, and little text bubbles to put our information inside and other needed decorations. I go up to the self checkout and checkout all of my stuff. I insert my debit card and pay for my items and wait for Jenny by the exit door.

When she finishes we walk out and hop into the jeep. I buckle up my seat belt and sit there until we get to Eddie's. "So where are you and your partner meeting at?" I ask. "Eddie's actually. That's why I took so long. I had to ask Trent if he wanted to meet up here." I laugh. "You mean the Trent you've had a crush on since Freshman year?" Her face turns tomato red. "I swear if you say something to him I will chop your head off."  I snort. "If you say so, lovebird."

We finally make it to the diner. We get out of the Jeep and I head in to the diner. I skim the room to see if I can find Tyler anywhere. I don't see him anywhere so I sit down at a booth. "Hello miss, is there anything I can get for you at the moment?" A waitress said holding a pen and a notepad. "Um-" "She'll have a vanilla milkshake with extra whip and no cherry and I'll have a coke no ice." I hear a familiar voice behind me say walking up to the booth and sitting down across from me. "Alright, it'll be out in a few minutes." she says smiling. I chuckle. "I still can't believe you remember what I order for a drink." He laughs. "How could I forget? It's so specific."

A few minutes later, the waitress brings out our drinks. "is there anything you two might like to eat?" I pause. "I'm good for right now, thank you." "And for you, sir?" "I'm okay too, thanks." I lay out the stuff for our project and move my milkshake out of the way. The bell rings to someone entering the diner. I take a quick look behind me to see who it was and turns out, it was a group of popular people from school. A couple guys from the football team, and their popular assholes of a girlfriend. I turn back to the stuff I was pulling out. "Wow you did go all out for this project. How much did you pay for all of this?" I pull out the receipt and give it to him. "Becca, you shouldn't have. I mean, you spent 30 bucks on all of this for our grade?" I shook my head. "I didn't want us to get a bad grade." He sighs. "Okay, well before we glue these bubbles down we should probably write down the information on them so it doesn't look messy. And we can start by gluing down the bubble letters for each section and then glue down the trim first actually, and um-" "Slow down Walker." he says laughing. "Sorry, I'm just afraid we're not going to get done.." He puts his hand over mine. "Rebecca, I promise. We will get done." I look at his hand and then look at him in his brown, chocolate eyes.

A moment of silence passes and I snap out of it. "So where do we start?" I ask. He quickly removes his hand from my hand and scratches his head. "Um, the trim I guess. So we have enough room for the sections right? The sections we need are time frame, what the war was about, who fought in the war and?" "What happened to cause the war." I said. "Alright let's get started." We glue the silver trim around the board and glue down bubble letters for teach four topics in the top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right corner. "Hey, um, since I'm taking it home, I'm going to print out a couple pictures if that's fine?" He nods. "Yeah, that's okay." He says smiling. "What do we have here?" I hear at least ten voices of laughter from behind me. I turn around to see the group of people from school. "What do you want?" I ask. "No need to be petty, Rebecca. We just wanted to ask if we can sit here." I chuckle. "No." "Can you guys just leave us alone for a little bit? I mean seriously." Tyler says. "Fine, be that way."  They walk away and I mouth 'thank you.' He shakes his head and continues writing down information on the last bubble while I start gluing everything down.

Finally about an hour later, we finish the poster.

The waitress walks over to our table. "Are you guys ready to eat something?" I sigh. "Yeah, I'll have a um..a hamburger with no ketchup and no pickle with extra lettuce." "And what's your side?" "A salad." "And for you sir?" "I'll have a double stacked cheeseburger with extra pickle." Our food finally comes out a few minutes later. I eat up my burger and finally finish after a few minutes.

After a few minutes of us both done, the waitress comes back over. "Here's your check, and you can leave whenever you're finished paying." she smiles and walks away. Before I could grab the check Tyler does. He looks at the amount and goes into his pocket and puts the amount needed into the check book along with a five dollars for the tip. "Tyler, you don't have to pay, really."  He smiles. "Yes I do. I mean you already payed for the supplies. And plus, that would rude of me."

I look at the time and it's 8:30. "If you want, I can walk you home." Tyler says. "It's okay, Ty. I'll be fine. I have a ride from Jenny." "Um, Jen looks a little busy." he points behind me. I look behind me to see Jenny snogging Trent. I turn back around and life. "Looks like she's having a good time." I giggle.

"I guess so." Tyler said. "I remember when we were like that." I sigh. "Me too." "Do you miss it?" "Tyler." I look at him in the yes. "I can't handle this right now. I'm sorry, i just have things going on." He frowns. "Is there anything I can do to help?" I shake my head no. "No. Nothing about it can be done." He gets up and out of his seat. I get up as well and pick up the poster. Before I walk away, he pulls me into a hug. And for some reason, I accept it. "I want you to let me know if anyone hurts you." he says. I look up at him and shake my head. "Do you need my number, Becca? Or do you still have it?"  I look through my contacts. "I still have it." he smiles. If you need me, call me." I shake my head. "Okay." He kisses my forehead, then walks out. I look towards Jenny to see if she's ready to leave. She sees me looking at her and tells Trent bye, and gets up. I walk towards her and head out with her.

"Was that a hug and a kiss on the forehead I witnessed?" Jenny asked. I laughed. "Was that an hour make out session I witnessed?" I say crossing my arms. "Okay, you have a point." "So does someone have a boyfriend?" Jenny squeals. "Mhm!" I grin. "Jenny! I'm so happy for you!"
