I wake up and I stretch my legs and arms. I head over to the bag with my clothes and I grab a black tank top to go with a denim jacket and white jeans. I go to the bathroom and separate my hair to braid two French braids. When I'm finished I head my way to the kitchen and grab a plastic bowl, a box of cereal I bought and a tiny carton of milk. I pour in my cereal and then my milk and grab a plastic spoon out of the plastic utensils I bought. I eat my cereal quietly, playing a game on my phone as I finish up trying to pick up the tiny flakes of fruity pebbles. When I'm done eating the cereal, I drink the milk and throw the spoon and bowl away. I put on my vans and I grab my backpack. I grab the key card to my door, my wallet and my phone and head out. I hit the elevator button to head down to the lobby. I get in the elevator and an old lady is in the elevator. I squeeze in and play on my phone until I reach the lobby.

The ding in the elevator rings and I walk up to Helda. "Good morning deary," She says with a smile on her face. "Good morning!" I say smiling back. "You might want to hurry up, he doesn't like to be kept waiting." I raise an eyebrow. "Pardon?" Helda laughs adjusting her hair out of the way. "I got you a ride for school so you don't get marked late." I smile. "Thanks, Helda."

I walk outside to see 'Shorty' sitting on a motorcycle waiting for someone. Shorty looks at me and holds out his helmet. "Here, you wear this." I squint. There's possibly no way I'm letting someone I don't even know drive me to school. "I'm not getting on that." He laughs. "If you want to be late, sure." I roll my eyes and sigh. I slowly walk to the motorcycle and put on the helmet. "Now what you're going to do is you're going to sit tight and put your arms around me." I sigh. "Fine."

I get on the motorcycle and I wrap my arms around his waist."Why are you driving me anyway?" I ask. He sighs. "Because. Helda told me to." I roll my eyes. "Well, you can tell Helda I'll be fine." The rest of the ride to school was very awkward. It was quiet, and the sun was rising even further into the sky. "Aren't you going to be late?" He laughed. "No. I'll make it."

A few minutes later we finally reach the school. I hop off the motorcycle getting looks and stares from everyone, them mostly looking at Shorty. I wave goodbye to him and thank him and run into the school so I would stop getting so many looks and stares. I walk around as people are staring at me and I look for Jenny and Lilian. Finally, after a long five minutes of searching, I finally find Lilian. "Hey!" She looks at me, and brings me into a hug. "Becca you haven't called or texted me letting me know you were okay!" I sigh. "I know, and I'm sorry." I get a hug from behind. "You better be sorry and give us an explanation!" Casey walks towards Lilian. "Casey!" I say giving him a hug. "Lili you know what happened with Zach or no?" She shakes her head no. "Why did Tyler fight him anyway?" I sigh and I start tearing up. "Bec?" Lilian brings me into a hug as I start bursting into tears.

"What did Zach do?" I sniffle. "I don't know if I can trust him anymore." They look at me with a confused, questioning look. "What do you mean?" Casey questioned. "So Tyler was walking into the locker room and apparently Zach was planning something with the football team to embarrass me. Not only me, but you guys too." Lilian and Casey sigh and look at me with a frown, Lilian starting to tear up. "How can you believe Tyler though? I mean after what Tyler did last year, you're seriously believing him over your best friend since you were kids?"

The bell rings. "I've got to go, I shouldn't have said anything." I say running away. "Casey, you shouldn't have said anything we're supposed to be there for her, not backlash on her and yell at her. She's in pain." I hear Lili say as I run away. I run into the girls bathroom in front of my homeroom class and go into the portable stall so I can wash my face and re-do my mascara.

I let the cold water run and splash my face with the water. I grab paper towels and dry my face and quickly put on my mascara so I can head to class.

I walk in to homeroom and sit in my usual spot in the back. I sigh and take out my laptop to continue doing research for the extra credit. "Today's class you will do any missing work you need for me. If you don't have any missing work, you can work on anything for another class or I'm offering extra credit. The extra credit is for those who have turned in any of your missing work. The assignment consists of writing a two thousand word essay on how the war you were assigned impacted the United States. Get to work."

*Later*

Finally, school is over and my off time in work is finally over. I grab my stuff out of my locker and head out of the locker room. As I'm walking through the hallways I hear comments from Juniors and fellow Seniors such as, "Is she going to ride with that gang boy again", "She's such a hoe" and other kinds of bullshit. I storm outside of the school and plug in my earbuds and put my music all the way up and start heading towards the record shop.
