Chapter 40

A couple of months after Morro had attacked again, Lloyd was quietly walked down the hall of his home. One of his suitcases in his hand. After Lloyd had judo flipped that guy on the street, everything went back to the way it was before. Bullies, expulsion from school for no reason, and so much more. In the past few months Lloyd had stayed quiet, until finally his parents had found out, when he walked in on a day he'd been told they weren't going to be home after school and started crying after shutting the door. The family was moving. he'd been told that they were moving to Jamanakai Village, in the mountains. Lloyd was devastated when he found out.

"Lloyd, do you have all your bags?" Misako asked

"There's one more in my room." Lloyd replied as his father took his bag

"Go get it, were going to leave soon."

"Mom, do we have to move. I... I don't like being bullied, but I've deleted with it my whole life, I'll survive."

"You shouldn't have had to deal with bullies for this long Lloyd. Get your last bag, your father and I will be waiting in the car."

"Mom."

"We'll stop by your friends' houses. You get to say bye. I promise."

"Why are we running from this problem Mom!?" Lloyd yelled in question "We can't run from this!"

"Lloyd please."

"Besides it doesn't matter! Even if we move, people will know who I am! I'll get bullied, I'll get beat up. It's just the facts! People. Hate. Me."

"Lloyd. Just go get your bag."

Lloyd sat quietly in the backseat of the car. He'd said goodbye to all his friends. He was now playing on his phone, looking through his Wattpad account. "Lloyd, do you want to stop anywhere for dinner?" Misako asked

"Not hungry."

"Lloyd. You haven't eaten all day. We're stopping." Garmadon said

"Fine."

Garmadon pulled into McDonald's drive-thru, he ordered, and after waiting, the family continued driving. "Lloyd, eat your food." Garmadon said as he glanced into the rear-veiw Mirror and saw that Lloyd hadn't eaten

Lloyd shoved a fry in his mouth "Happy?"

Garmadon sighed, and continued to drive.

Lloyd snored quietly as the car came to a halt. "Lloyd. Wake up son." Garmadon said quietly as he and Misako tried to wake their son

"What?"

"We're here." Misako smiled

Lloyd looked out the window. There was a tall building, with a sign that said Sensei Wu's School for Future and Current Ninja. "No. Way." Lloyd saw Kai, and Jay poke their heads out the door of the building. "No way. GUYS!?" Lloyd yelled as he scrambled out of the car

"Hey! Sorry, we wanted to tell you, but your parents wanted to surprise you!" Kai explained

Lloyd grinned widely "I thought I was never gonna see any of you guys again!" He hugged Kai

"This school will only accept those who are willing to accept others. No one has to worry about Bullies." Kai smiled "Especially you Lloyd."

The rest of the group came outside and hugged Lloyd "We all finally get to get away from bullies." The group hugged happily, as the sun set over the horizon.

"Yeah, Finally." Lloyd smiled softly. Maybe there was a place where he could escape the reality of a normal school
