Lloyd lay in the hospital bed. His Ninja mask still covering his face. His mom burst into the room, the nurse behind her. "So, no one else knows his identity?" Misako asked the nurse
"No." The nurse replied "Not that I know of."
"What happened, how did he get hurt?"
"Garmadon's minions." Lloyd muttered as he sat up "I was in the woods, they found me and stabbed a blade through my leg. Then they left me to bleed out."
"Both of the Perforafors, and the Femoral Vein. Some sort of blade went directly through them. If the other Ninja had gotten him here a minute later then they did, he would've bled out, and died." The nurse explained
"Mom. I'm sorry I ran off." Lloyd sighed
"Lloyd, your father-" Misako began
"He doesn't know I'm the Green Ninja. If he did, I don't think he would've had his generals try to kill me."
"I was told that one of his generals broke in last night, and tried to put something in the IV." Misako said trying to keep her cool "I helped analyze the substance. It was Devourer venom."
"As in, The Great Devourer?"
"The very venom that turned your father evil."
"So... Dad ordered one of his generals to turn me evil." Lloyd sighed "Sometimes I wonder how he would react if he knew it was me."
"He definitely wouldn't do some of the things he does now."
"Do you want a book or anything?" The nurse asked
"When am I gonna go home?" Lloyd asked the nurse
"Once your leg heals a bit more." She replied kindly
Lloyd sighed sadly. "I can't stay cooped up. My classmates will ask questions."
"I thought you said-"
"They don't like me. But they'll notice if I'm not there, and come back with a limp."
"You'll get back to school soon Lloyd." Misako reassured Lloyd "Until you do, I'll tell your teachers that you're sick."
