7. Unexpected Boyfriend

    I am sorry for not updating.Thanks a lot for your votes and comments. I want to thank all those who added my story to reading list and followed me seeing me work. I will try my best to not to disappoint you.

  "Manik, please listen to me. The job I do is too dangerous for you." I said so that I could make Manik understand. "Is it not dangerous to you?" he asked tuning his guitar. "Manik, try to understand, I have experience and I had done it numerous times. I don't need your help." I sat in front of him to argue further in the jam room. "Ok, I will not be your helper but I will be your assistant." Thank god fab 4 is not here, otherwise I would face a tough time in handling them along with Manik.

 

"I will definitely help you in finding the murder mystery of Varna. Hariharan. I promise I will help you..." why can't Manik leave me to myself. I know he helped me in disclosing human trafficking, but now he wants to be my assistant. "Manik its professional" I whined at his desire. "Then let's make it unprofessional. Let us be boyfriend and girlfriend." he said with full excitement and I was dumbstruck. "who is boyfriend and girlfriend?" someone asked and I was about to answer, but my lips were sealed into a heated kiss. I was shocked.

  I was having my first kiss with this guy who is annoying me like hell. His lips were asking entrance to which I denied and he soon bit my lip which resulted in hissing in pain. He took as an opportunity to put his tongue inside my mouth. I don't know what to do. I can push him, but I have clutched his shirt collar like my life dependant on it. When I was breath less I moaned to which he released me slowly.

  I looked at him whose forehead was on me embracing me in his arms. I was confused with his acts. My eyes fell on the doors of jam room but I got double shock when whole fab 4 along with Navya stood there with their mouth hung open. I am totally embarrassed now. They all witnessed my so called kiss which was a big surprise for me. Manik followed my eyes "Hey guys." he waved his hand as if he is ok with all the PDA he did to me.

   "Explain Now!!" Mukti's voice boomed in whole jam room. "Oh, that I am her boyfriend from now on, so I am requesting her to take your help for her investigation." I want to wring Manik's neck. "Manik, I am not your girlfriend" I want to cry from all this fiasco. "Yes your not my girlfriend." god bless Manik and full fill all his dreams. "I am your boyfriend and I will wait till you convince yourself that you are my girlfriend." I want to scratch his face and he should ugly like a gorilla.

  I accept my defeat. After all this I am damn sure I will have to agree. "Fine you all can help me. We will share the salary." I can't be selfish and take all their hard work for my own use. "Nandini, We don't need your salary. We want to help you. Well I will be lying if I told you that I only want to help but I want to see how this works. I want to witness the adventures which you come across. I want to collect the wonderful memories from this college." Druv made his point clear and everyone nodded their head.

  "Ok, as you wish. So We have to divide our work by this we can complete the work within time." I took the papers to make the strategy. "Time?" Aliya asked "Mr. Thakkar has called me and told that my work will be produced weekly so we need to get info within time. About that fiction thing Soha is taking care of it." It was true that Soha was a good editor and writer. She is good with computers, hidden cameras and many devices which I don't know.

  "The plan is, we will first gather all the details of early age of Varna. Druv and Aliya will search her schooling and enquire there. Mukti and Kabir may handle her friends circle. Manik and I will go to her parents. Is the plan ok?" I asked to which everyone nodded with a smile.

Aliya's POV

  Its evening and I am going to meet Druv as he wants to talk something important. I entered his house as I have a spare key of aunty. Aunty has been to her native so she gave me her key. I waited Druv in his room soon he joined me with two coffee mugs in his hands. "Hey, what did you want to talk?" I never saw Druv so tensed, but today he seemed different. "I wanted to talk about Nandini and Manik. I know Manik has a crush on her, but common he should not force her."

  He was correct somehow. I saw it clearly how she was uncomfortable. "I know Druv and I understand the situation, but this somehow helped us to convince Nandini." Druv heaved a sigh "Aliya we need to support Nandini. At least Manik have us, but what about her? I went through her profile and I found that she has no one, did you not hear? that she is in this profession since 14?"

  Druv is really a soul who thinks about everyone and I am proud of it. "Druv, now she have us especially Manik who is ready to show her how it feels to be loved so don't worry and don't forget we have to search the schooling of Varna. Hariharan." I said and laid beside him with my head on his chest. He caressed my hair with his fingers "What would I do without you?" his question made me look at him and kiss him.
