32. Girls' Night

  "Why are you all looking at me in this way?" Mukti asked as we all stared at her, so could open up about Mr. Thakkar, I mean Abhi. "How did Mukti ended up with Muku?" Aliya asked with her full saccharine smile as if it was to threaten her to tell the truth. "Nothing" Mukti said and looked away as if searching something in mobile. I can see Aliya who was fuming now and only thing that was not visible was smoke from her ears.

  "I am doing something to her please imitate me." Aliya said as if she is telling the top secret of India. Aliya went near Mukti and started tickling her. Mukti managed to stop her, but Navya and Vibha helped Aliya to tickle which arised roars of laughter. I tried to stop them, but the backstabbers started tickling me along with Mukti. After about five minutes me and Mukti sobered up from the laughter.

  "On a serious note, how did it happen Mukti?" I asked as I was unble to keep my curiuos mind in bay. "Well, I took the suggestion of yours and told that I am interested in him. We went on breakfast date and I think I am happy with my decision." Mukti said tugging her hairs around her ears while turning a light shade of red. "Awwww" We girls said seeing the big bad girl of SPACE blushing before us.

  Apparently we are having girl's night in bungalow and we decided to watch some action movie, but Mukti 's issue had to solved so we all started discussing about our personnel lives. "Now it's your turn Navya." Aliya said while crunching her potao chips as she has taken a day break from her diet. "Kabir asked me out." He had rehersed with me to ask her. I thought he would turn 60 while practising itself. "At last that joker got some guts." Mukti said and cheered for Navya whose ears were red by now.

  "He should say thanks to me, I was the one who worked with the lines." I said snaching the chips packet from Aliya. Every eyes were on me and Navya had that evil smile indicatring danger. "Please Nadini show us how would you propose Navya if you were Kabir." Vibha asked with puppy eyes followed by other girls. I really tried hard, but common when there are 4 against you, you cannot win and I gave up.

  I dragged Navya at the middle of the hall and started what I wrote it for Kabir. They all applauded only, if they knew how Kabir wrote his dialogues then I am damn sure he would receive a brick form Mukti on his face. His exact words were 'Navya you should be the lucky one because I choose to date you.' , 'Navya my handsome face is searching for a traditional face can you accompany me?', 'I like you! you should like me!.' for this Manik had punched him and knocked some sense into him.

  "What about you Nandini?" Navya asked as we all sat in our places. "I think I am falling for Manik. Well, when I first saw him I knew he was not my type, but the best thing is I like him and and I am slowly falling for him." a small smile gazing my lips. I was brought back to reality by snaping of fingers by Vibha who had mischieviuos smile.

  "Vibha we all have a love life now. what about you? You know uncle Azad asked if I could find you a guy." This was a complete lie as a revenge for tickling me. "My love life is not the matter what matters is my professional life. As you all know I am working in one of the interior designing of hotel with Oberois. I thought I am practically settled, but everything is not going according my plan." Vibha whined like a child.

  "What happened?" Aliya asked her in a protective mode. "The woman I work under is sweet, but that dumb Adity. Oberoi whose hobby is to reject my designs is not letting me to work." she said her fist were clenched. "What is he doing? Don't worry We fab 5 will beat the hell out of him." Aliya said with a stern face. "No, Actually from a week I am working  there designing about 20 rooms, but he selects only two from my designs. Thank god I have all the copy which I can use as my assignment. The woman under I work has assured me that my designs will shine if I went to the upcoming competition." she said trailing of a little.

  "Girls Manik birthday is after two days we need to prepare for it." I informed them and everyone was alert now. "Decorations will be done by me." Vibha said raising her hand. "Of course catering by me, but the alcohol must not be given to me." navya said in horror. I chuckled how she was made to drink alcohol on her first day. "About gifts we fab 5 have a ritual of bringing a large gift to him only by us, you need to think something." Aliya said with a bit hesitant.

  "Aliya don't worry we will sort things out. Ok, decorations will be done by Vibha, Druv and Aliya. Catering will be done by Navya, Kabir and Mukti. Till you all prepare surprise for him, I will distract Manik." I said and everyone nodded. "Girls shall we watch a movie it's almost two months I watched a movie." Vibha said bring up the cds Mukti brought. The night was spent seeing movie. Manik is in his boys' night as we all decide to have girls' night with girls and they decided to have boys' night in Druv's house.

  What gift should I give to Manik?
