Chapter 27: Salt Lick

As days got hotter as the weather became much more lovely out side. After a day of being out all day in the hot weather, Clementine was in the shower and thinking about what book she would start reading after her shower when all of a sudden Clementine got a notification on her phone.

Dick🦆🧡: Hey bitchet, so you know how my mom bought that ranch about a year or so ago when she added on to her own Vet Business and now has a place where she treats farm animals?

Bitchet😑🔫💛: Yes bitch, why?

Dick🦆🧡: Well...her and my dad are going out this weekend and won't be home and wanted me to go down there a couple times, wanna come with me?

Bitchet😑🔫💛: OMFG YES!!! I WANNA GO!!! Who else is going?

Dick🦆🧡: Well the normal and Mitch's girlfriend who used to be apart of our group and Ruby and Aasim. They used to be apart of the group but they all left the school. So, you down? I'm going today in maybe two hours.

Bitchet😑🔫💛:Okay I'll be ready, can you pick me up?

Dick🦆🧡: Okay, buttttt...Im leaving soon to go down a little before everyone else and bc it takes a while to get there. If you can be ready in less the 45 minutes then yes.

Bitchet😑🔫💛: Okay, bet! See you later, bye Bitch.

Dick🦆🧡: Bye hoe

Clementine quickly finished up her shower and dryer off. She was quick to put on her clothes too: cameo overalls, a black shirt and some black converse, she didn't even bother to put on any makeup. Since she was home alone, she left a note for her parents on the fridge to let them know where she was going.

'Going to Katjis farm with duck! Be back later!'

She then went outside and sat on the pouch swing as she waited for Duck. When he got there she jumped into the car.

"Do you still have a key to my house?" Clementine asked as she put her seatbelt on. "Yup, it's in my wallet. You ready to go?"

Clementine nods at Duck to the two could take off to the farm, the trip there took about an hour and a half before they were on the property.

"So we have maybe 30 minutes to feed all the animals, you take the horses and the chickens and I'll take the pigs and the cows. You can do the dogs if you want to, there gonna stay here till my parents get back." Duck said as she picked up a list and then handed two buckets for Clementine.

"What about the other animals?" Clementine said as she started to filled on of the buckets up with water. "There are only like 5 goats this week and there all on this specific diet so my mom did those before she left."

After about 45 minutes of work, Clementine and Duck could see a couple of cars start to come down the dirt rode to the entrance.

"Is that them?" Clementine asked as she pulled her hair up into a high ponytail and put her sunglasses on her head.

"Should be, c'mon. You need to meet some people."
Duck grabbed Clementine's arm and pulled her to where the card were now parked.

Clementine immediately noticed the three new people, two girls and one guy. The girls were very pretty to Clementine, she knew who one of them ones but she didn't know what she looked like. That was Mitch's girlfriend.

"So guys, meet Clementine. Clementine, this is Ruby, Aasim and Libbie." Duck said as he kinda nudged Clementine's shoulder so he could introduced her to the others.

"So you're the one who got the football tickets. Thanks." Aasim said as he extended his hand to Clementine. "Yup that was me." She sad as she shook the boys hand.

"And your the Clementine Everette. It's a huge pleasure to meet you." Ruby smiled.

"And you guys are the three number in the group chat that I don't know?" Clementine said as she stock to Ducks side, still kinda of unsure of the three new people.

"Yeah, where the three number that keep texting" Libbie said with a smile and held her hand out to shack Clementine's hand like Aasim did, Ruby fooled the trend and shock her hand after Libbie did.

After the brief introduction, Clementine went over to Louis and stuck by his side, she knew that he interacted with the three fairly well, so she thought If she stuck by her boyfriend then she would get more comfortable with the three.

They all helped out Duck to feed all the animals and finish up some things before they could do what ever they wanted on the 12 acres of land.

They all decided to go over to the barn where there was a mix of horses, goats, cows, sheep's and a couple of piglets.

Clementine was boning a little bit with Aasim and the two girls, they were petting the cows and brushing the horses.

"Hey, what's that?" Jaide asked pointing at a white block that was outside of one of the cows pins. "It's called a salt lick, that's what my dad said."

"Yeah, but don't lick it. It's gross!" Clementine said as Duck let out a chucks. When Clem and Duck were little they went down to a farm Katjia used to help out at and there was a salt like and Clementine licked it.

"Clementine, did you lick it?" Aasim asked her as he placed both hands on his hips.

Clementine eyes fell to the ground as she rapped her arms around her body. "I don't know..." she hid behind her boyfriend who laughed before rapping his arms around the small girl.

"I'm my defense I was like seven when I did that." Clementine stated as she looked at Aasim. "Okay, that totally makes it better." He joked.

"And you got mad at me for licking a sucker that was yours." Louis laughed. "That's because I dropped it on the floor!" Clementine said back to her boyfriend.

"You don't tell me it was on the floor." Louis scolded, looking at Clementine and sticking his tongue at her.

"Hey, I dear you to lick the salt lick Louis." Libbie said as she nudged him closes. When ever Libbie first joined the group both her and Louis hated each other's guts, but after being forced to work on a project together with Mitch, the two began to get along.

"I'll do it if you give me 20 bucks." Libbie looked at the boy before pulling out 10 dollars. "I'll give you 10."

"Babe, I'm not kissing after you lick that." Clementine laughed.

Louis looked over at Clementine and Libbie and then the salt lick because getting down and licking the block. He immediately regretted it and started spitting.

"I honestly didn't think he would do that." Marlon said as he grabbed a water bottle and gave it to Louis so he could try to get the taste out of his mouth.

"Neither did I...." Libbie said looking at her boyfriend before handing Louis his well earned ten bucks.

"Okay, we need to go now before some ones does something stupid and dies or something." Brody said as she Marlon looking at the salt lick and knowing damn well what he was thinking.

"I agree with Brody. We all need to leave."
