Chapter 3: Entwined Hands

It was Thursday, meaning the girl had another photoshoot, but this time it was before school.

It was 4:30am. The girl had to be out of the house by 5:30, at her shoot by 6:00am and then it starts at 6:30.

She hates early morning shoots and so did her parents. But she's the one who choose the life of a famous teenager. Today she was doing an Instagram photoshoot.

She was tempted to hit snooze on the loud alarm that was going off, but she jumped up when she herd a soft sound come from her phone.

"Who could that be?"

The short girl though to her self as she grabbed her phone off her dresser.

It was a text from Louis that read, "Good morning beautiful! I know you're probably not up yet, but I just wanted to see if you were still up to going to the place after school today?"

Clementine's eyes widen and her heart began to race at the the word 'beautiful.' Many people had called her beautiful before, but this time it was different, she felt butterflies in her stomach and couldn't blushing.

She quickly replied to the text saying, "Morning! I'm up because I have a photoshoot for Instagram before school, ugh! And of courses I'm still down. Why are you up." She places her phone down only to pick it up in a couple of seconds. "Football practice M'lady, it started at 6am, but I wake up at 4am because I know I'm gonna get distracted."

She smiled at the text and then places her phone down. She quickly, but quietly, ran to the bathroom to take a shower. It took her about 30 minutes.

She then quickly turned the showed off and dried her self off, she put on a pair of jean shorts and an undershirt before making her way to her room. Before she entered her room she knocked on her parents door, making sure they were awake.

When she was in her room she quickly blowdried her and then started on her make up. Today it was juts a simple eye look. Eyeliner with a small wing, glittery silver eyeshadow, and some mascara. She finished off her look with applying some light pink lipstick.

Once her makeup was all done she ran to her closest and grabbed her galaxy overalls and a sleeveless cropped shirt, then she slipped on her galaxy shoes and ran downstairs.

It was now 5:20, her mother was all ready downstairs waiting for her daughter.

She quickly ran down stairs, put a water in her school bag, grabbed a yogurt and ran out the door with her mother to make it to her Instagram shoot.

"Okay boys. That's it for today! Go shower and get ready for class!" The football coach yelled and both Marlon and Louis headed to the locker room to get ready for first period.

It was 8:00 and first period started at 8:30. Both Louis and Marlon quickly took a shower and got dressed. Marlon was wearing simple blue jeans, a black shit, and his lettermen jacket. Louis wore a simple green shirt, ripped jeans, and tan boots with a brown coat over.

While in the locker room Marlon noticed Louis' phone constantly going off.

"Hey Lou, who you texting?" Marlon asked as he leaned against the blue lockers.

"It's just Clementine." "Dude, juts ask her out or something. We all know you like her and I'm pretty sure she might know, you called her hot on her first day." Before Louis could reply Marlon snatches his phone and started to read Clementine and his conversation.

"Marlon! What the fuck! Give that back!" Louis said as he began to chase his best friend down the halls.

It was 8:00 so at this time students were in the hallways getting stuff out of there lockers or in the library copying each other home work.

All of a sudden Louis stopped running, Marlon look back at the dread head in confusion. Then he quickly saw the familiar curly hairs girl waking toward the boys.

"Hey guys." She said sweetly as she appeared the boys. "Do either of you two know where I can find Brody?"

"Of courts I do, she's my girlfriend." Marlon said as he motioned his head sideways, signaling for the girl to fallow him. "I wanna come too!" Louis said like a child, making Clementine let out a soft giggle.

The three began waking down the hall, Clementine stood in the middle of both boys, Marlon and her right and Louis on her left.

As they were waking Clementine felt a hand brush against hers, then she felt her fingers being entwined  with another hand.

The hand was bigger then hers, it held hers with tight grip. She looked down at her left hand, it was held by a hand that was slightly darker then hers. Then she looked up at Louis.

The boy saw her looking at her out of the corner of his eyes, he looked down at the girl and gave a wink.

She let out a soft sight with a smile. Marlon has soon noticed and gently nudged Clem on the shoulder.

She bit her bottom lip and she look forward with a smile on her face.

They soon quickly found Brody who was with the others who were sitting on the bleacher out side on the football field.

The three stood in front of the bleacher, the other say them and waves for them to come up.

As they walked, everybody noticed Louis and Clementine hands entwined with each other's. Once at the top Duck gave Louis a questionable glair, Louis just gave a nervous laugh.

"Hey beautiful, Clementine here was looking for you." Marlon said as she sat in front of his girl.

"Oh what's up Clem!" "I was just wondering if you brought what I asked you?" "The extra clothes, yeah! Come on, let's go to the bathroom." Brody said staring up, Clementine stood up being Louis' hand up with hers.

She looked back at him and smiled and he smiled back, letting go of her hand. Even though they had never held hands before and they weren't even dating, Clementines hand still felt empty with out his and his hand felt empty with out hers.

Brody and Clementine were waking to their first period, Clementine now wearing a simple grey hoodie, black ripped jeans, and black and white vans.

On there walk to first period Brody gave Clementines  arm a soft nudge and a smile. "So, you and Louis?"

Clementine put her hands in her jean pockets before answering. "I don't know. This morning he text me good morning beautiful. And yesterday before I told him I was who I really am-" "Wait you told him! What did say! How did her react!" Brody says as she stopped waking and interested the girl.

"He just said "So that's how you know Brody! Omg! But don't worry, your secret safe with me." Anyways, before I told him I asked if I could tell him something..." she possessed and looked at Brody.

"Did he call you a hottie agin!" Clementine only shook her head up and down, trying not to blush. "And then when we where walking to find you, he just grabbed my hand!" Clementine said with wide eyes and holding her left hand up.

Brody let out a high pitches shriek and Clementine let out another giggle.

There laughed soon came to an end and they walked into first period, they were barely on time. They quickly took there seats in the back of the class.

Through the day, Louis continued to hold Clementines hand every chance he got. He really liked this girl, she was smart, kind, beautiful, funny, and he absolutely loved her giggle and her homey golden eyes.

He was completely head over heals for this girl and he didn't care who know.
