Chapter 20: Football Game

The sky was full of dark clouds, it was only drizzling so the football game schedule for that day had not been canceled. Jaide, Marlon and Louis were the only ones in the friends group who weren't in last period. The two boys had a precious and Jaide, who was captain of the cheer squad, had to assemble her girls to go over there routines for the upcoming game.

Clementine was wearing a white off the shoulder bodysuits, ripped skinny jeans with white wedges. She threw her boyfriend varsity jacket over her shoulder as the class came to an end. Once she went to her locker and put all of her stuff away and got everything she needed, she went out to the football field to wait for her boyfriend as she was his ride home.

As the rain got a little harder the coach let the boys go, they all went to the locker room to change and showered real fast. When Louis was out he quickly made his way to his girlfriend so they could both hurry up and leave.

"Hey baby, c'mon, let's hurry." Louis said after he gave Clementine a quick peck on the lips. He then grabbed her backpack as they went to her car.

"Am I dropping you off at home or are you coming with me?" Clementine question as she drove out of the student parking lot.

"Where are you going?" Louis asked Clem before he pulled out his phone to answer some unread messages.

"I have to go drop something off to Minnie for Vi because she has the flu and Minnie is taking care of her. Then I got to go pick up Mitch so I can help him projector for his girlfriend. Then I'm going to Ducks house and taking him to the game and I have to do the same with Brody.

"Home please, I have to go pick up LJ and take her to our grandparents house."

When Clementine got to Louis house they both exchanged a kiss goodbye and then they parted their ways.

A couple hours has passed and now Clementine and the others had just arrived at the game, the stands were all ready filling up with students and factually. Normally parents would come to a random game because these were normally last minute games.

They all walked into the school to go bye some snacks and drinks for the game and also to look for Louis and Marlon.

"Louis isn't answering his phone. Try Marlon again Brody." Clementine said as she put her phone on her back pocket.

"Just listen for singing, Louis is always singing and I feel like some of the time he doesn't even realize it." Mitch joked as the teens arrived at what there school called 'The Snack Shack.'

"I do not!" Louis hissed as him and Marlon walked up behind the four teens.

"Oh please," Clementine started, "Thats like you saying you don't snore." She sticker her tongue out playfully. "How do you know that Clem?" Marlon said raising a brow as the teens began to pay got their food and drinks.

Before Clementine could answer a voice came over the loud speaker. It was the coach calling for all the football boys.

"Well, we gotta go. See y'all after the game!" Marlon says after he kissed Brody and then waved goodbye to his friends.

"Remember, you're taking me home babe, I'll meet you out side the locker room after the game." Louis said. "Okay, good luck." Clementine said before Louis kissed her and then ran to catch up with Marlon.

Ericsson was ahead by 23, but they needed one more touchdown to win the game. And that job was up to Louis.

"C'mon Louis! Don't suck!" Mitch shouted from the stands. Clementine gave him a questionable look before letting out a chucks.

"Hey, okay, let's go. M I T C H! SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Jaide chanted as she looked at Mitch and the laughed. He Shot up the middle finger in response.

"It looks like number 23 Zackery is gonna-oh! And he was taken down by number 2 Louis! Number 2 takes the ball and runs, and-oh, number 2 takes a nasty fall and is down!"

Clementine shot up as she saw her boyfriend slip and take a really nasty fall, rolling his ankle as well. Jaide looked up to the bleached at her friends.

Soon the whistle was blown and the other guys on the team made there way to there star player who was now on the floor. Duck, Brody, Clem and Mitch had made there way all the way down to the bottom of the bleachers to see what was happening, there they were met with Jaide.

"What the fuck happened!" Clementine yelled as she throw on Louis' black hoodie pulling the hood over her head as the rain started to pick up.

"When Number 27 was down on the other team he grabbed Louis' ankle and pulled it back really hard to stop him from making a touchdown."

"Where's Louis! Where are they taking him!" Clementine shouted as the rain got even harder. Clementine jumped down and off the bleachers and went with Jaide, she took her right out side the girls locker room so she could wait and see if Louis was okay.

Soon the coach came out of the boys locker room and the others boys followed. She got immediately got worried because she didn't see Louis walk out. She walked up to the coach to ask what was wrong with her boyfriend.

He said Louis probably just sprained his ankle and that he was in the locker room icing it so it wouldn't swell more. Once they all left Marlon looked back at Clem and nodded for her to go in the locker room. She quickly slipped in and went to her boyfriend.

She stoped a little before she was right in front of him, Louis looked up and smiled at her. Clementine ran to him and hugged him tight.

"Hey, I'm okay Clemmy. I'm okay." Louis said in a whisper as he kissed his girlfriends neck a couple of times. "It's probably just strained, I can still walk on it but it hurts a little when I do. I'm just gonna rap and ice it for now." He added as his girlfriend looked up at him.

"What happened?" Clementine asked as she pulled away from the hug. Louis told her how one specific guy on the other team names Zackery (number 27) had hated him for so long because how good Louis was. He would always give Louis shit because him teammates would pick on him for always getting taken down by him.

"I swear if you ever do that again I'm gonna fucking beat you up." Clementine said as she got up off of her boyfriends lap.

"I love you too." Louis said as he grabbed both of their bags before they both made there way back to Clem's car. Clementine playfully stuck her tongue out in response right before Louis could throw his arm around her and pulled her close, kissing her on her head and tickled her sides a little.

"Okay! I love you too!" Clementine exclaimed as started to practically tear up from how much she was laughed.

Louis places one more kiss on Clementine lips before both put their seatbelts and head home for nights.
