You're All I Need (Clouis AU)

Chapter 25: Doctor

It had been almost two weeks since Louis' birthday and that meant that Joyce was long gone and it was just in time since he had his doctors appointment in a couple of hours.

Since Clementine would be going with Louis and his parents, Clems mom volunteered to watch the two girls while they were out. Though Clementine couldn't go with him to actually talk to a doctor, she would have to talk to the doctor and tell them what she's knows about his anxiety and how it was triggered since she was with him almost all the time.

They arrived at the doctors at 9am. It was pretty early and normally the time they would be ending first period.

Louis seemed Offaly quiet this morning and that was with coffee, even with out coffee he was always taking and messing with Clem, but not today. He had been quite since he work up and even in the waiting room.

He was super still and didn't really moved until his name was called.

"For Louis?" Someone said aloud. All fore looked to there left and saw a very nice looking man standing in the hall way before he walked over to introduce him self. "Hi! I'm Dr.Wilson and I'm going to be Louis' doctor."

"Hello! I'm Jason. This is my wife Ashly, and this is Louis and Clementine."

"Well it is very nice to meet you all! So what I'm going to do is take you fore back and I'm going to talk with each of y'all individually to  get a feel for Louis and then see what I want to do from there. Follow me please."

Jason and Ashly were the first to get up. Louis looked over at Clem with a face he would often make when he was hesitant of something. She looked at her boyfriend and smiled. She grabbed his hand and stood up with him.

"It's okay baby, everything is going to be fine, okay." Clementine spoke very softly to try to ease her boyfriends nerves as they walked back to a smaller area with a couch and two rooms.

"So I'm going to go ahed and being Clementine In first for maybe 5-10 minutes and then I'm going to come get you two and have Clementine go out and then send the two of you out and talk to Louis alone before brining you all back in."

Clementine stood up and kissed Louis on the cheek before following the man into an office like room.

"So I'm going to go out on a limb here as say your his girlfriend?" Dr.Wilson ask Clementine.

"Yes. I'm his girlfriend. We met during school and have been dating for a long time."

"That nice. Well I'm just going to ask you maybe three questions and then you will be done. First, do you ever notice any ticks, things that he does when he gets like that?"

"I mean he does this thing with his hand, it's always his right hand and he always moves his finger in a specific way. It's middle, thumb, ring, pinkie, pointer. Over and over for a while." Clementine said as she watch the doctor type on his laptop.

"Secondly, I noticed the way he responded to you before you came back here. Does he do better with you around when he gets really nervous and does physical affection from you often work to settle him down?"

"I learned to help him out pretty well and yes, since he is more on the physical affection side to make him feel love I do often try to show some type of physical affection just because I know since he responds to that pretty well he'll respond to it it's stressful situation well if it will distract him"

Once again, Dr.Wilson began do type down what Clementine was saying.

"Lastly, are you two physically active and if so do you or him even use sex to get ride of any feeling you may be feeling in that moment. For example if a family member so happened to pass away and he was really upset about it and you knew it but he kept insisting sex."

Clementine's face grew red and hot, she hated talking about her sex lift with her boyfriend, especially since neither of there parents knew that were having sex.

"Umm...yes, but to our knowledge our parents don't know and it is protected sex and for the second part no. We've only had that type of moment not even a handful of times."

"Okay, thank you, Clementine. That's all I need from you today."

With that, Clementine left the room and joined her boyfriend while his parents went into the room. She sat next to her boyfriend and hugged him, she knew this must have been hard for him.

"I love you, Lou." Clementine said quietly as she kept her arms around her boyfriend.

"I love you too..."

"So the anxiety is a no brainer, he does have it. But I want to get him an ADD and an ADHD test before we start the medication trial just to see what could and would work best for him. Is next Thursday at 1:00 okay ? The test shouldn't take more then an hour total."

Ashly looked at Louis to see his facial expressions, she smiled at her and nodded.

"Yes, that will be fine, but what's the reasons for the follow up text?" Louis' dad asked.

"Well, a lot of people have anxiety and ADD and or ADHD that contributes to the anxiety so I just to see if the anxiety is just anxiety or ADD and or ADHD just to make sure we put him on something that helps him."

"Okay...well thank you for seeing us today." Ashly extended her hand to the doctor, she shook her and and then her husbands hand.

"The pleasure was all mine, it was very nice to met you all. I look forward to our next appointment." The man held the door open to his office and waved them all goodbye as they walked out of the room and back down to the parking garage.

"Lou, how did you feel about Dr.Wilson?" His dad ashes him as they pulled out of the parking garage and made there way to the StarBucks that was only 5 minutes away since no one had eaten anything that morning.

"He seems good. He seems like a good man and he didn't give of any bad vibes so I trust him." Louis said while making eye contact with his dad threw The rearview mirror before looking back at Clementine who was half asleep on her boyfriends shoulder as soon as they were pulling into the StarBucks drive through.

Louis' mom all ready knew that the two both always got a straight up black coffee, it was weird to her but she didn't bother asking.

She then passed the drinks back and Louis had put Clementine's in a cup holder. He was pretty sure she was knocked out by now.

Louis took a sip out of his drink and then looked down at Clementine.

"We're going to be fine, we're going to make it." Louis said softly with a smile before taking another drink out of his cup and then resting his head on the window.

He was right though, they were both going to be okay, they were both going to be able to handle whatever was thrown at them and Louis' anxiety was just a obstacle right now, but he knew that were going to come out of it, he just knew it.
