Chapter 32: Spooky Scary Skeleton

October was always such a perfect month, the weather was amazing, it was the start of hoodie season and best of all, it was spooky season!

Clementine was never a fan of Halloween, she was easily scared so safe to say October was always a living hell for her, especially not that she had a jokesters boyfriend.

He would always try to scare her. Hiding around corners with a scary mask on, trying the lights off yes she was in the shower, or just coming up behind her and yelling 'BOO!'.

"I'm just not a fan and I'm only going because it's Libbie's Halloween party..." Clementine huffed as she let Jaide do her makeup.

"It's also Libbie's birthday." Violet laughed. She watched as Jaide did Clementines' makeup. All the girls were at Brody's house since no one was home meaning no one would bother them while they were getting ready.

"Did Brody tell you what Marlon and Lou were dressing up as?" Minerva chuckled. "Not yet, but I know they wanted to do a 'couples' costume. Brody and I were gonna do that but we couldn't find anything."

"The two dumbasses are going as Buzz and Woody," Brody said. She grabbed her phone and showed her the photo of the two boys.

"Are they supposed to be the 'sexy' version?" Minerva question as she grabbed Brody's phone. Both boys were waking shorts with fishnets under them and cropped tops.

"Sadly, yes." Brody cringed as she looked at the boys who were wearing her only two good pairs of fishnets.

"And I thought Ducks costume was dumb." Jaide laughed as she was putting the final touches on Clem's makeup.

The seven girls were going to do a group costume but they couldn't find non-cheesy costumes for a group of seven so they ended up all doing their own things.

Clementine was penny-wise, Brody was Wendy from Peter Pan, Minerva was a scarecrow, Violet was an army girl and Jaide was going as Snow White.

"Does anyone know what Libbie and Ruby as dressing up as?" Jaide questions as she was still working on Clementine's makeup.

"I think Ruby said she was just gonna throw a baseball jury on and Libbie is going to be an alien." Minerva smiled as she picked up her phone to take a picture with her girlfriend.

"Okay Clem, you're done. We have to go, we're almost two hours late!" Jaide rushed. She still hasn't gotten dressed in her yellow top and blue skirt.

"Jay, just get dressed in the car. We've all seen each other naked. C'mon, Libbie is waiting!" Brody jumped up and grabbed the keys to her car.

After a 30 minute drive, they arrived at the places where the party was being held. Everyone wonders off to do their own thing while Brody and Clementine went to find their boyfriends to see their costumes in person.

When they found them, both of their eyes widened, they looked a lot different in the picture.

"Oh wow...you two look very, umm." Clementine was trying not to laugh as she saw her boyfriend and his best friend in their costumes.

"Hot, sexy, stunning. Yeah, we know." Louis smiled proudly.

"More like stupid, dumb, and very unattractive. By the way, you both owe me 30 bucks for those fishnets." Brody chimes in.

"This is really bad, worse than when you two tried on matching dresses," Clementine said. She cringed at the memory of the two.

"Okay, well I'm gonna take Clem to meet some people since this is an Ericsson party after all." Louis smiled, proud to show off his girlfriend to some of his friends.

"Oh god, good luck Clem." Marlon waved the two off. "Hey, what did we get Libb's?" Louis question as they walked into the crowd.

Clementine smiled, "We got her a charm for her bracket and some earrings." Clementine wrapped her arms around one of Louis'.

"What did your mom says about all of...that." Clementine gestured to Louis outfit with her eye. "They didn't see it. I changed at Marlon's house since his dad was working late, but his dog did seem to judge us." He laughed.

"All right, let's go walk and talk and maybe drink." Louis winked.

After Clementine met a lot of new people and had a couple drinks of booze, everyone gathered around to sing Libbie happy birthday.

After singing happy birthday to Libbie and eating cake, Libbie approached Clem with a mischievous smile.

"Clementine, since it's my birthday, you have to go into the haunted house. For me!" Libbie batted her eyes and gave an innocent smile,

"Libbie! Are you for real! You're gonna make me have a fucking heart attack!" Clementine whined. "Oh pretty please with sprinkles on top!" Libbie begged once again.

Clementine rolled her eyes, "Fine! Just because it's your birthday." Libbie smiled and grabbed her friend's hand before they all went into the haunted house.

"No, no, no! No, I don't like it!" Clementine whined as she held onto Violet for her life. His head was tucked into her neck as she didn't want to look at anything.

"Clementine, it's a haunted house, none of this is real!" Libbie laughed as she grabbed her hand, trying to get her to look up.

Just as Libbie got Clementine to look up, a really freaky zombie jumped at them. Clementine was so tempted to swing at him, but she ended up just running to Ruby.

"Ruby, save me!" Clementine yelled. Ruby laughed as she hugged the girl. "Clem, we're already done. Look, I promise you're okay."

Clementine was very hesitant to look up, but she did. She saw they were already out of the haunted maze and just as she was about to take a sigh of relief, Louis came from behind and scared her.

She basically jumped 10 feet in the hair before actually swinging this time.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry Lou! I didn't know it was you! I am so fucking sorry!"

Louis pulled his hand away from his nose to make sure it wasn't bleeding. "Nope, that was all my bad. I should have known better."

ITS SPOOKY SEASON!!

In honer of spooky season I wanted to do a Halloween chapter!! There is no specific time line but I might be doing a thanksgiving and Christmas but after that I'm not sure.

I'm also sorry this is so short! I haven't posted in like two months so I just wanted to post something, next part will be longer!
