You were not part of the Van der Linde gang, but met Arthur in Valentine one day he happened to be there, doing some jobs here and there. You had gone to the saloon to get your drunk grandpa back home safely, when the outlaw caught sight of you, and found you absolutely stunning.
You had not exchanged any words, not even a glance, but just seeing your beautiful face had been more than enough to have Arthur completely obsessed with you. Never had he seen someone so beautiful.
Ever since that day, he started going to Valentine on a daily basis just to see you. He'd lean against a random house's wall and stare up at the street, waited patiently for you to appear. He'd been watching you for long enough to know you'd saunter your way to the store, either to buy or sell supplies, going past the house he'd be at every time.
Even when he knew he looked like a creepy man, stalking you like that, he couldn't help doing it. For Arthur, you were quite a sight for sore eyes, and one day, he promised himself, he'd talk to you.
