You met Josiah on a train to Saint Denis. For one reason or another, you caught his attention, and he caught yours. After a few stolen glances at each other, and some bashful smiles from your part, Josiah couldn't resist it and moved to sit by you. You two struck up a conversation, and talked for what felt like hours, until the train finally arrived at the big city.
Josiah stuck with you, even after leaving the station. He admitted to have quite enjoyed conversing with you, and he wanted to get to know you better; so, he offered to invite you to a drink at Bastille's saloon, and you gladly accepted. Once there, you two continued talking.
As the sun began to set, you two left the saloon, but did not go your separate ways. You both walked to a small park, none of you wanting to leave the other just yet. It was then when Josiah showed you his tricks—one of them was holding a gun, which, after a few swift movements, turned into a pretty yellow bird that flew away towards the sky.
You saw the bird fly away, then turned to him, stared at him in awe; your reaction made the trickster feel incredibly proud of himself.
