Lone Wolf [Completed]

Chapter 21

(Felyrn POV)

I've finally found her. After years of searching, she's been in the mortal realm all along. That clever woman thought she could hide my own daughter from me... But I have many resources at my disposal. I am a king after all. I knew she was a strong, independent woman, from the rumors. I also heard she loved to fight, especially vampires and that she had a temper. She must have gotten that from her mother. However, I did not expect her to be a wolf. That was going to be a bit of a problem.

Her mate is a vampire, her father is a Fae king and her mother was something of a mystery. She also had a brother I was unaware of. He was just a wolf, no special abilities hidden in there. How she became a wolf is beyond me, but I'm willing to find out. I spoke to her, using a mind link, hoping she inherited that at least. I was correct when she met my gaze and listened intently to my every word. The rest of the Fae in the room whispered amongst themselves.

They shuffled around and murmured about her being the one I was looking for and mentioned her eyes. I was once again proved right that she was my daughter- they were glowing a bright violet. She stayed standing still and I walked towards her; only to be stopped by her mate. "I don't think so, faery filth." His eyes flashed angrily. "I think you should move, you are in no position to stop me. So, I suggest you step aside and let me speak to my daughter."

Marku shifted uncomfortably, Ryder's eyes widened, Dusty paled considerably, and the room was deathly silent. Ah yes, Dusty. I would be dealing with him shortly. As well as Khan, they both deserved what was coming to them. The wolf on the floor spoke in a pained voice. "Sky, what is he talking about?"

She didn't answer him, just continued to stare at me. I could see the questions in her gaze, everything was finally falling into place. So, I answered for her. "You are only half siblings, you do not share the same father because I am her father."

He stilled and closed his eyes. "I always knew mother was hiding something, I just never knew how big it was. I guess I was right all along." I nodded, "Yes. And I'm guessing you could all feel the power of her command from earlier?" Most everyone nodded. "Yes, that is because she is Fae. She is my successor, so her Fae magic is more powerful than any other. Therefore, she has the ability to control whomever she chooses. Even a king." I made a pointed look at Marku.

Ryder shook his head, "Wait, you're telling me she's Fae? How's that possible, she's a wolf!" Sky turned to him, then gazed back at me. She still hadn't said anything, but her eyes said it all. Confusion... Hurt... Frustration... Everything I had expected her to feel. Except one.

Understanding... Acceptance... It was shocking to see that she wasn't freaking out and ripping the place to shreds, but I was glad. It would make it all the more easier for me to bring her home if she wasn't in wolf form. I could easily use my magic and bind her from shifting, but I was adamant on making her listen; without using any form of influence.

I shook my head, "I'm still unsure how she is part wolf, but I do know that she isn't a full wolf. My blood wouldn't allow it. I'm still surprised that she hasn't turned and ripped us all to shreds by now, she must have excellent self control." I nodded to her and she glanced around, mostly at the Alpha. I could feel his Alpha dominance flowing around, but it didn't seem to affect her. 

"Alpha," I addressed the male who responded with a grunt. "Yes?" I grinned, "Tell me, how is you know my daughter? I don't remember anything about her being in a pack, let alone the Deonte pack." He growled, "That is not a part of my pack, let alone allowed anywhere near it. I suggest you take it back where it belongs and leave us alone." 

There were other growls heard and Sky bent low, readying for an attack. I held out a hand, stilling her. "No, it's quite alright. I do have one question though," I looked back at the Alpha.

"Why did you send another Alpha after her... If you didn't want anything to do with her?"
