(Marku's POV)

Even I felt the levity of her command. And I am a King. Khan was right, as soon as she finished speaking, I could feel the power practically glowing off of her. No, she was glowing. I released my grip on her and stepped back and she looked at me, smiling. "Thank you, My King." I froze. She is a wolf, a lone wolf, I am not her king. To my left, I saw Ryder start walking towards her, but she held up a hand. "No, I must have a few words with him before any of you." She pointedly stared at Khan, then stared down one of the guards. I followed her gaze and saw Ciro, but he didn't look away like Khan did, he only stared back and nodded.

He got down on one knee, bent forward and stared at the ground. "I am yours, my Queen. My soul and mind are yours to possess and command. You are my Queen and I am your servant." While he was saying this, Sky made her way to him, now standing in front of him. When he looked up, she cupped his chin and kissed his cheek.

Ryder growled, obviously not liking the closeness between her and another male. She gave him a pointed look and he stilled. He groaned and looked down at the ground, shuffling his feet. Her voice was other worldly, "I will not tell you again, my male." The pure possessiveness in her tone was enough to make me shiver from desire. He must have heard it too, because his pupils dilated and he growled, "Don't tempt me female. You do not know the things I am capable of doing to you. You will kneel before me soon enough." Her breath hitched and she let out a low whine.

I cleared my throat before the room burst into flames. The sexual tension in the room was enough to make me groan.

"Ok, what the hell is going on here? And what the hell was that?" I had forgotten all about the other two wolves in the room and Khan was getting antsy. I noticed that Sky's gaze was glued to the wolf beside Khan, bound by silver chains. "Luca... What happened to you?" She shuffled towards him, but Khan growled and stepped in front of him. She didn't pay him any mind, just kept walking. She dropped to her knees, shoulders slumped, then she began sobbing.

The first sound out of her throat was a heart wrenching wail and I was sure it wasn't Sky, but her wolf. She bent over and buried her head in her hands, shaking her head. I tuned in to what she was saying, "All my fault. Stupid, stupid, selfish, stupid." She was repeating it, like a mantra. Surprisingly, Ryder was not the first to comfort his mate; Ciro was. He stepped towards her and knelt besides her, rubbing her back and making shushing sounds. She continued to cry and everyone stood by, watching.

Until Ryder marched forward and flung Ciro off of her, then proceeded to punch Khan in the jaw, knocking him off his feet. Ciro stayed on his feet, never wavering from Sky's side. "Ciro," I growled low, a warning to stand down. He simply stared at me, face void of emotion. "Stand down, soldier. This is not your concern. Stay out of it." He didn't move. He continued to watch Sky, like his life depended on it.

Then it clicked.

Those words she had spoken to him must have done something to him. I snarled, "What did you do to him?" She turned to me, eyes glassy and red rimmed. Her voice was stoic and contained malice. "I changed his loyalty. He is not your soldier any longer," she glanced at him briefly then back to me. "He is mine." My blood boiled. Changed his loyalty? She can't just go around taking my soldiers and then acting like nothing happened! I bent low, into a fighting stance. Ciro stepped forward, blocking my view. "Move, you have no part in this. This is between me and the dog."

Just then, the doors burst open and a very unexpected and rude guest appeared. "Friend, I do believe you do not want to do that. It will not be a very good idea."
