Just a quick note, I will be adding pictures of the characters; so you all have a better understanding of what everyone looks like. I know it can get kind of confusing sometimes with all the descriptions, so I'm going to help ya'll out a bit.

Enjoy!

(Cole's POV)

She had blotches of fur and skin combined all over her body. Parts of her clothing were torn in certain areas around the formed wolf's skin. She was breathing heavily and Ryder looked terrified. He stood there in the center of the room, a few feet to the left of her. She fell to her hands and knees and I saw Ryder wince as he watched her. That's when I noticed something; she was in pain. I quickly looked around and noticed up in the stands, behind the crowd of council vampires, there was a woman. Scratch that, a witch. If looks could kill and burn, Sky would be dead and charcoal right now. I looked at Marku and he had an evil smirk plastered on his face. He had brought this witch to torture her, which means he already knew about her before she came here with my brother.

I could see how badly Ryder wanted to go to her, to stop this from happening, but he was stopped short when Marku spoke. "I'm going to give you one last chance, wolf." He said it with such disdain, like she wasn't important. I made my way through the crowd of guards surrounding her and stood below the throne. She heaved and heaved before she ground out painfully, "Go to Hell." Oh, big mistake. He only grinned widely and motioned to the guards. She watched in horror as they brought forward another wolf; male. Her face contorted in pain and she fell to her knees sobbing. I looked between the two, trying to find a connection. Past lover? No. Family? Definitely, they had the same eyes, facial structure and hair color.

The guards shoved him to his knees and lifted his chin, so his neck was exposed. It was a position of submission; even though he was forced, it was an action full of significance.  Marku looked at the witch and nodded his head. Immediately, Sky released a loud breath, expressing her pain was now gone. She sobbed loudly and cried out, "Luca!" Ryder's face contorted in pain and worry. "I have obtained knowledge that he is your brother, correct?" She nodded without lifting her head, "Yes." Her voice was low and breathy from exhaustion. A deep rumble sounded from Marku's chest. "Then why weren't you with him when he was acquired?" She lifted her head, "I was banished from my pack." She mumbled breathlessly. "Why?" "Because I rejected the Alpha as my mate." The rumbling came again. "Why?" He snarled.

"Because he was just going to use me to bare an heir, he didn't want me as his Luna. He wasn't going to love me like he should have, he would have fucked me senseless, then banished me after he was done taking out the trash!" She yelled and broke into tears. Ryder was visibly shaking out of anger and was trying his best not to kill everyone in the room. There was a groan and everyone's heads snapped to the male. He opened his eyes and they widened upon seeing his sister. "Sky.." He mumbled. "Luca, it's ok. It's ok." He pulled against the guards, attempting to free himself. Suddenly, Marku was standing behind her, holding her neck in a way, it looked like her was threatening to snap her neck. "I suggest you don't move, wolf."

She closed her eyes tightly and Ryder's gaze focused on her. His jaw was tense and his eyes bled crimson. She opened her eyes and they were gleaming with tears. "Do it!" Marku looked down at her, confusion expressed on his features. "Are you so eager to die?" He growled. She closed her eyes and whispered, "Dying is better than going back to that monster." He let out a deep, laugh. "Oh, little wolf. I wasn't planning on taking you anywhere." She opened her eyes and looked at Ryder with wide eyes. His shoulders were tensed up and his jaw was working. Marku looked towards the guards near the back doors and nodded. The door opened and in stepped a man. Sky wailed, "No! I won't do it, you can just kill me right here because he's going to no matter what! Please, please don't make me!"

She writhed in Marku's grasp and elbowed him in the side of the head, in his right ear. "Fucking hell!" She jumped up from the ground and ran towards my brother. Her momentum was too much and caused them both to topple to the floor in a heap. Marku stalked towards her with constant growls of displeasure rumbling from his chest. Ryder stood to his feet, Sky in tow. "Marku, you can't really be considering letting him take her?" He snarled, 'Of course I am! Maybe she shouldn't have been in my kingdom, or been dumb enough to get caught at least. Which makes me wonder, how did she get in my kingdom?" He looked pointedly at Ryder. I looked at the man and wondered why Sky might have fallen apart.

He seemed like a regular man, but looks can be deceiving. He was about six foot tall with broad shoulders and a thick chest. He wasn't wearing a shirt and his pants were low, showing off his 'v' line. He had black hair that hung just below his ears. He had an angular face, a chiseled jaw and a long nose. His eyes were a deep chocolate brown and they were surrounded by a mass of dark eyelashes. His pants were form fitting, making his thighs and lower legs stick out. I couldn't help myself and checked out his backside. That earned me a growl from Dallas; of course he saw me. I looked at him and winked while he scowled at my lude behavior. My examination didn't go unnoticed by the wolf either. He smirked, "See something you like? By all means..." He gestured to his body and made direct eye contact the whole time.

Dallas wasn't having it. He took a single step forward and bent low, signaling his attack. "Cole." I looked at Marku, raising an eyebrow. "Would you like to explain to me why my lead enforcer is about to rip off Khan's head?" When he said his name, Sky visibly shuddered, I wonder why.
