I remember... waking up to a weird noise.

There was a girl on top of someone, and I was trapped in some—thing.

She pulled the blade out from his throat, then stuffed it right inside his stomach near a wound she already made.

She was red. An ugly red. But I felt like I knew her.

Seijiro groaned as the girl giggled, wiping her face with her uniform’s sleeve. “My head... hurts...” He muttered.

I knew her.

(Y/N) dug to the point she felt his insides, shuffling the knife into his K.O’ed body. After having her fun, she then decided to check his pockets, feeling something metal.

I watched her kill someone. I wish I pretended that I was asleep.

“Liar. All of you are liars. You lied to me, Jyu. You got what you deserved.” She said, standing up to her feet. She assumed it was the key belonging to the life-sized cage, so she approached it.

“(Y/N)…?” Seijiro asked himself, narrowing his eyes. He wanted to clarify it wasn’t some random girl saving him. Well, to be completely honest, he preferred that.

She’s crazy.

Once he came to realization of the current situation, the blonde sat up and scooted away, rising to his feet. “(Y/N), what happened to you? You’re crazy!” He shouted, watching as she inserted the key through the hole.

I’m saving you. I’m helping you. Jyugo and Kentaro are liars, they want to keep you here...” She replied with her eyes widening in excitement. The door unlocked, and she kept her promise.

She’s insane.

“You’re insane.” He said, creeping around the bars. While he continued to be frightened and somewhat anxious, (Y/N) lowered the knife and dropped the key, stumbling towards Seijiro.

Her arms ended up wrapped around his lanky body, and he let out an inaudible inhale full of fluster. “I’m finally with you again! I don’t care if you cheat on me, do it how much you’d like! I just... wanna be with you.” She admitted, squeezing him tight.

“(Y/N)… I can’t love you. I love Kiriko, and you’re just sick. I thought we could work, but I guess Kiri was right about you.” ‘Right about what?’ Her face churned into look dismay, removing her arms from around him.

“Who cares. Kiriko is dead. But to me, she died a long time ago.” Instantaneously, the blonde gripped her shoulders, sending her emotions into utter madness. A blush laid heavy on her cheeks, gazing into his stern eyes.

“Tell me... you’re kidding! You killed her?! She has nothing to do with why I disappeared!” With a giggle, the not-so-innocent female shook her head, pointing Jyugo lying on the floor, who she had killed with her own hands.

“He did! At least I think he did... I’m not sure, but I can’t ask now. Still, it’s not like I really cared about her.” Seijiro gritted his teeth and squeezed her shoulders even tighter, tilting down his head. “Should I be angry at the fact that you said that with a smile, or the fact that you generally don’t care."

“What... happened to you?” There was no way he could bring her back, and to be frank, that wasn’t the plan. But at least the normal (Y/N) was a person he could stand. “I want nothing to do with you, or your little boyfriends, or any of this! Where’s Narumi?”

He... doesn’t love me? What did I do?’

Why? I saved you! I forgave you! So why... won’t you love me back...?”

(Y/N) cried, biting her lip afterwards. That freaked him out even more, and so he shoved her away. “I liked the old you—you were somewhat decent and fun to be around. I don’t know what they did to you, but you’re the same as those twins.”

I didn’t want to hear that, Seiji. I know you loved me. So just tell me that.’

“Take it back! I’m nothing like them!” (Y/N) yelled, extending her arms to block his exit. She noticed his quick glance down at the key she dropped on the floor, and planned to make a grab for it.

“(Y/N), move out the way. I don’t have time for this.” He said, giving her a threatening gaze. Still, she continued to stand there with her arms out, sitting stubbornly still.

“I said... take it back.” She muttered once more, her icy malicious eyes meeting his. “I’m not taking anything back because it’s true.” His strength naturally overpowered hers, so he easily forced her out the way and onto her side.

After sitting there for a while, Seijiro exited the cage, and (Y/N) finally stood up. “D-Don’t leave me! There’s nowhere for me to go, or you! So, let’s just st—”

“Shut the hell up, (N/N)! Turn yourself in, it’s for the best.” He said, scratching his head.

He’s right.’

She bit her tongue and glared at the floor with shivering arms and legs. “Call me by my nickname one last time, please Seiji...” She begged.

'But I don’t know what's best for me anymore.’

As her grabbed his belongings he remembered carrying with him, he glanced back.

“(N/N), I’m—”

His eyes widened, and instinctively he flinched. With darkened and lifeless eyes, she struck him with the knife she upheaved in the air.

The knife pierced through his throat deeply, reaching the nape of his neck. Blood splattered all over her face, drenching her uniform in even more blood. “If I can’t have you, no one can.” She cooed, pulling back her hand along with the knife.

Seijiro fell on his back in pain, reached over his neck in hope to stop the blood gushing out his throat.

Despite his efforts, the blood continued to leak endlessly down his throat, and (Y/N) giggled. "You should've just stayed with me, Seiji. Now I can't help you anymore, Seiji.' She said, flicking the knife in his direction.

I thought telling her those rude things would snap her out of it... And that was dumb of me.

(Y/N) paused and trembled after forcing the tip of the knife to his stomach, blinking as droplets of her tears landed on his shirt. "Seiji..." She whined, letting the weapon slip between her fingers.

With her dirty hands, she cupped her cheeks before wiping her tears, repeating his name more than once. "I-I'm so sorry, Seiji! W-What am I doing?!"

I want her to forgive me. For cheating, for lying, for driving her insane...

"Seiji... Please don't die! Please, don't leave me..." Gently he raised his hand to hers, his eyes weighing heavy. "(Y-)" He choked, unable to speak.

Frantically, (Y/N) shook him in hope to bring him back, but he was already dead.

Sorry for giving up on you... And myself.
