Bas' POV

I do not know why I felt guilty after I exchanged numbers with P'Joss and after I let him give me a buddy hug before we parted ways.

I know it's silly because P'Gxxod and I are not together. I'm a free agent. I'm not committed to any one but somehow whenever I join the rest of my group mates to perform I always tend to think about P'Gxxod and how happy I would be if he was also performing with us on stage.

I was getting ready for bed when my phone sounded with a notification of an incoming text message.

"I saw you on the entertainment news tonight."

My heart jumped to my throat. Was P'Gxxod psychic? I was just thinking of him a while ago.

"How are you P'Gxxod?" was my response to his text.

"Missing you and thinking about you." P'Gxxod texted back.

"Same here." I replied.

"The TV camera also showed you chatting with a new guy. Is he a new member of SBFive?"

Oh shit, he had seen me with P'Joss.

"No, he is a model and actor from a different agency."  I replied.

Gxxod: "What's his name?"

Me: "P'Joss."

Gxxod:  "Why do you call him P'? You have been friends with him for some time already?"

Me:  "Not really. It's just because he's older that's all."

Gxxod:  "Are you free tomorrow?"

Me: "Yes."

Gxxod:  "You wanna have lunch with me at that seafood restaurant where we used to go and eat your favorite grilled salmon? It will be my treat."

I hesitated to say yes. What if P'Joss called me or texted me to hang out with him tomorrow? And then again it was just going to be a lunch meeting with P'Gxxod. After that he probably needed to go some place or do something else.

Me:  "Okay, P'Gxxod. Will you be picking me up?"

Gxxod:  "Yes. Be ready at eleven thirty tomorrow morning."

I was about to reply to the text when my phone started ringing. It was P'Joss calling!

I took the call immediately forgetting that I still needed to respond to P'Gxxod's text.

"Hi, P'Joss!"

"Hi, Bas, did I disturb you? Were you sleeping already?"

"No, P'Joss, I was just texting."

"Who were you texting with?"

P'Joss must have sensed my hesitation.

"It's okay, Bas, you don't have to tell me. Are you free tomorrow?"

"Yes, I'm not scheduled to perform with the rest of my group until day after tomorrow, so I'm free all day. No, wait, I mean I'm free in the afternoon."

I had almost forgotten about my lunch date with P'Gxxod.

My phone sounded with a text notification. I was sure that it was from P'Gxxod because we had not yet ended our text conversation.

"You wanna watch a movie with me in the afternoon and have dinner afterwards?" asked P'Joss.

"Sure," I replied, "where do you want me to meet you?"

"I can pick you up from your house," he replied.

"That would be great," I replied, "what time are you picking me up?"

"Will three in the afternoon be too early for you?" he asked.

"No," I said, "it would be just fine."

"Very well, then," said P'Joss, "I'll see you tomorrow, Bas."

"Okay, see you tomorrow, P'Joss, good night."

"Good night, Bas."

After I ended the call with P'Joss, I checked my text inbox. Sure enough it was from Gxxod.

"Bas?"

"Yes, P'Gxxod"

"I just want you to confirm that eleven thirty tomorrow is fine with you, then I will say good night."

"Yes, P'Gxxod, eleven thirty is just fine."

"Okay, good night, Bas."

"Good night, P'Gxxod, see you tomorrow."

I kept my fingers crossed that tomorrow there would be no conflict or overlap in my dates with P'Gxxod and P'Joss.
