Gxxod's POV

My eyes had been closed the whole time. The pain pill that the nurse had given me had relieved a little bit of the pain but the pill had started to make me feel drowsy as well.

As my eyes were closed I did not see the door being flung open. I just heard someone rush inside and suddenly he was all over my chest.

"Uhh... uhh!" I cried out in pain because among all parts of my body it was my chest that hurt the most.

The person pulled away from my chest and I opened my eyes.

"Bas!" I cried out once more.

Bas was bending over me and looking down sadly at me, his tears falling and dropping all over my chest.

I took his hand.

"Bas, why are you crying? Please don't cry. I'm not dead," I smiled weakly to make him stop crying.

"Thank God you're not dead!" Bas said and dropped on my chest again.

"Uhh! uhh!" I had to cry out in pain again.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Bas cried as he lifted himself off me again.

"Thank you for coming to see me, Bas, but please stop crying or I will start crying, too," I said because I really hated to see my baby Bas with tears in his eyes.

"Can I stay here all night with you?" he asked.

"You can't, Bas," someone said from behind Bas.

I did not notice that P'Kim had accompanied Bas to the hospital.

"Oh, hi, P'Kim," I said to him, "were you the one who brought Bas to see me?"

P'Kim nodded.

"Thank you so much, P'Kim," I said gratefully.

"It's nothing," said P'Kim, "I'm sorry about your unfortunate accident."

"I'm sorry, too," I said, "I hope to recover quickly. Fortunately my injuries were not serious according to the doctor."

"I'm so glad to hear that," said P'Kim.

Bas took my hand and held it tightly.

"I wish I could hug you but I hurt you every time I try to do it," he said, his tears still flowing freely.

I saw my mom handing him a box of tissues.

Bas clasped his hands together and bowed to her before taking it.

"Thank you, ma'am," Bas said to her.

My heart jumped when my mom said to Bas, "Oh, just call me Mom instead of ma'am. Anyway I know that you are a close friend of my son, so feel free to call me Mom."

I could not help smiling secretly. My mom had taken a liking to my baby Bas.

"Thank you, mom," said Bas, smiling weakly as he wiped his eyes with a tissue.

"That's a good boy," said my mom, patting him on his shoulder.

"We have a promo event tomorrow," said P'Kim. "but I promise to bring Bas back here after the event. We will stop by the supermarket first to buy you some fresh fruits to help you to recover faster."

"That's very kind of you, P'Kim, I greatly appreciate it," I said.

"Don't mention it," said P'Kim as he gently pulled Bas away from my bedside.

"Wait, P'Kim," said Bas, pulling away from P'Kim and walking back to my bedside.

He took my hand again and to my great surprise and happiness, he bent down and planted a kiss on my forehead.

I saw him glance at my mom to make sure that she was not looking, then quickly placed his lips on mine.

Did I die already?  Am in heaven right now???
