Joss' POV

I studied myself in the full length mirror to make sure that I looked sharp in my choice of clothes and that my hairstyle complimented the shape of my face.

I put on my favorite men's cologne and then headed down to the garage to get into my car.

I felt a giddy excitement as I drove towards Bas' house. He had provided me his address and I put it into my GPS to guide me there.

I was a few feet away from his gate but I could not park right across it because there was another car parked on that spot so I parked behind that car.

I texted Bas that I was waiting outside his gate.

Suddenly the door of the car in front of me opened and Bas stepped out of the passenger side of the car. Then the driver's side opened and... wait... the face of the driver who stepped out looked familiar to me...

Is that Gxxod??? Gxxod, the actor and model who used to be paired with Bas in that drama series with the rest of his SBFive group?

I looked at the face intently. Yes... yes... it's Gxxod.

Did  Bas just come back from a lunch date with Gxxod? Was he the reason why Bas told me he was not free all day, that he was free only in the afternoon?

I saw Bas walking towards my car so I stepped out of my car.

Gxxod followed Bas. Shit, I was going to come face to face with my  rival.

"Hi, P'Joss!" Bas greeted me with that killer smile of his.

"Hi, Bas!" I said not taking his extended hand but giving him a buddy hug.

I noticed that Gxxod was frowning.

Bas turned to Gxxod.

"P'Gxxod, this is my friend P'Joss."

I extended my hand and Gxxod took it briefly without saying a word.

Then he turned to Bas.

"Sooo... Bas, I guess I will have to get going," he said in a somewhat harsh tone, "have fun with your boyfriend tonight."

"No, P'Gxxod, he is not my boyfriend... " Bas' voice trailed as Gxxod did not wait for him to finish talking but turned and walked away and got inside his car, revved his car loudly and drove away with a piercing screech.

"I'm sorry, P'Joss," Bas said in an apologetic tone, "he's usually very nice and friendly."

"It's okay, Bas," I assured him, "don't worry about it. Come, get into my car."

He got inside my car with a serious expression on his face. His bright smile had disappeared and I felt sorry for him. Was he feeling something for Gxxod? My heart ached thinking about it.

Bas turned to me and placed his hand on my arm.

"P'Joss, I don't want to watch a movie," he said.

My heart jumped to my throat. Had he changed his mind about coming for a movie and dinner date with me?

"Can we do something else instead?" he asked.

"Sure," I replied, "what did you have in mind?"

"Can we play video games at your place?" he asked.

"Of course!!!" I answered excitedly, "let's go!!!"
