Death

The door opens and I point the Gun.

Cole another man from the pack walks in and sees me pointing the Gun. He puts his hands up.

"Cameryn it's just me put down the gun."

I threw down the gun and I pushed past Lucas and i ran out ran out. When i look out i see all of the Warriors standing covered in blood and bruises. They all stare at me with sympathetic looks.

I quickly run and find Andrew my father's beta and he gives me a look that says it all. Not just a few feet away do I see them pass. The bodies of my father and my brother. I fall to my knees bursting out in tears and let out a howl of agony the pack in turn returns it as their alpha is now dead.

Andrew scoops me up in his arms and carries me inside to my room. Andrew is in his mid forties and is like an uncle to me.

"Sweetie" he whispers.

"What" I reply between cries.

"They died noble men"

"I know but how did they die. My dad and brother are the strongest alpha and soon to be alpha in Europe."

"Sweetie I think that's a story for another time not right now."

"Ok" I sob

"Can you please leave me Andrew I must mourn by myself for a while."

"Of course dear I'll come check on you in a little while ok."

With that Andrew raises off my bed and exits closing the door behind him. I grab my cellphone and dials mom's number.

"Cameryn I know." My mother's voice says over the phone.

"H-how"

"I felt his pain in death"

I forgot that she could feel his pain because of the mate bond.

"Mom when are you coming back I need you."

"I hate to say this honey but i can't come back."

"W-why" I try to control my sobs.

"Because honey he was my mate and when you find yours in a few weeks you'll understand."

"But mommy I need you."

"I know honey but i just can't maybe in a few years I'll come to visit. I love you mittens."

"Love you too mommy."

The phone line proceeds to go dead and i collapse into a heaping pile of sobs.

I literally cry myself to sleep and I make one promise I will find out who killed my brother and father and I won't kill them though I will keep them alive and make them endure extreme suffering they do not deserve death that'd be too nice.

The next morning Andrew comes to my room carrying breakfast.

"Hun are you okay enough to eat."

"No I'm not." I reply through my sobs.

"Please eat and I need to talk to you."

"Can we please talk later I want to shower."

"Ok hun take your time ok."

He then closes my door and I drag my self out of bed and head to the bathroom. When i look in the mirror I see this set of puffy red eyes covering up my normal smiling chocolate brown ones. My hair is this big matted mess unlike it's normal dark almost black, brown hair.

I start the shower and wait for it to get to warm and strip off my tank top and Jean shorts, and step in. I let the water engulf me and wash myself and let the body wash all glide off my skin. I wash my hair quickly and get out. I walk out of my room and head in to my walk in closet and choose out Grey and baby blue sweat shorts, and a baby blue tank top. Then I go into the bathroom and I dry my hair and throw it into a messy bun.

I then drudge downstairs and go to Andrews office and knock on his door.

"Come in Cameryn."

"Hello Andrew."

"Please sit."

I proceed to sit on a big tan puffy chair and see Andrew looking at me with strange eyes.

"You wanted to speak with me Andrew."

"Yes dear ummm i don't quite know how to say this but when your father was dieing he looked me in the eyes with full love and he said."

                           FLASHBACK

Andrews POV

"AWOOOOOOOOO"

I heard the cry coming from in the woods and immediately recognize it as Dave's. I quickly run to the side of my best friend and nuzzle him with my nose to show him I'm here.

'Oh Andrew my longest and best friend I have-'

"AWOOOOOO"

'I know i don't have much time but I have just enough to tell you something.'

'Dave what happened to you'

He proceeds to look down and then I see it a 4 silver bullets shot to his heart. A normal wolf could be killed with only one to the heart but in order to kill an alpha there must be 4. I then lift my paw to see it covered in his blood.

'Andrew please look at my eyes not at my wounds I know I will be passing on soon but i need you to know I love you my friend and I know normally a beta would take over until my son is able to take the position but sadly I have have witnessed the brutal incident of his death. He is now waiting for me in the afterlife and the men are taking him back now.'

I feel a tear and a whimper escape from my wolf.

'No my friend do not cry for my death please rejoice in my life. Though I have but one last request for you my dear friend. I understand that you were expecting to resign your position to Zachary soon and I would love for that dream you have of stepping down and taking you mate around the world. I would like that to come true and I want you to give Zachary the beta position too he has worked very hard for it.'

'Though who will be alpha, David.'

'Please pass on the news to Cameryn I know an female alpha is not heard of ever. But I would like her to take alpha position.'

'But my friend-'

'No buts she is a very strong woman And this is my request I love you my friend goodbye.'

I then see him right before my eyes lay his bug wolf head down and let out one last howl which the Warriors  returned and then I realize the fighting is over, for now I will avenge my friends death.

                     END OF FLASHBACK

Cameryn's POV

I look at Andrew and my mouth is wide open and I feel tears coming on.

"This will take much practice and it know your father would never approve of you becoming alpha if he thought you weren't the best for the role. In a few days the Alpha ceremony will commence and I believe highly in you and believe you will succeed."

He comes over and hugs me and I then get up and leave.

In a few days I will be alpha. I HAVE NOT EVEN SHIFTED YET AND DONT HAVE A MATE, I DONT KNOW HOW I'LL BE ABLE TO RUN THIS PACK, I HAVE NO TRAINING IN IT AT ALL!

HOW AM I EVER GOING TO DO THIS!
