Chap. 5

No One's POV:

        Liam anxiously awaited for the clock to strike 9, which would signal the end of class, and at that time he would be able to get back to flirting with Karma.

        As soon as the bell went off, Karma got up with a swift movement and was just about to head out when Liam rached out for her hand , taking into his own. She was definitely caught off guard but his actions, yet she turned to face him. He was smiling.

        "Is there something you need Liam?"

        He immidiately let go of her when she uttered those words and replied, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I just didn't want to let you leave without asking if you'd like to have lunch with me."

        Karma let out a small laugh at how straightforward Liam was being and said, "Well, I..."

        They were interupted by Tommy's voice, "Liam! Dude, I have to ask you a question!"

        Annoyance began to travel throughout Liam's body upon hearing those words. He was about to get an answer from Karma and Tommy had to basically call him over. It was completely obvious, to Liam anyways, that Tommy was only saying that he had a question to mess with Liam's opportunity. It was a low blow man, but somehow, Liam managed to shove down his annoyance and spoke to Karma.

        "Looks like Tommy wants to talk. So, I'll see you around, and I hope that you take me up on that lunch suggestion."

        With that he let Karma walk out of the room.

Liam's POV:

        I went ocer to Tommy, making my anger known.

        "Dude! What the heck was that!?! I was just about to score and get her to have lunch with me."

        Tommy laughed, "Hey, I never said that I wouldn't interfere, besides I doubt you'll ever score with her."

        He smirked before leaving.

        What the hell was that?

Amy's POV:

        Man, first perid had been pure torture. Some dumb kid asked the same question, worded diferently, like a hundred times. I'm just glad it's over now. It was time for me to go find my girlfriend whom I've been wanting to see and hold in my arms since this morning. I really hope she isn't still upset with me but I was showing Liam around and late for class.

        Time for some "Amy" charm to kick in.

        I made it to my second period room but there was no sight of Karma.

        I was about to take a seat when I felt my phone vibrate.

        'Hello?"

        "Hey Amy. This is Karma. I need to talk to you."

        "Is everythig okay?"

        "There is something important I have to discuss with you. Meet me in the Library?"

        "Okay, I'll be right there."

        What was going on? She had been a bit upset this morning but now she sounded as if something was terribly wrong.

Karma's POV:

        Boy was Amy going to be in for a surprise. I have to say that my acting skills were on point.
