Karma's POV:

I was anxiously waiting for Amy to arrive. The whole night I had spent trying to justify the fact that I had almost slept with Liam. I kept telling myself that Amy was to blame because she had practically rejected me last night. The only problem was that as many times as I repeated that to myself, I couldn't even get myself to believe it. My brain was fully aware of whose fault it was... Mine. I had let the hurt and anger and his stupid words get to me. Why couldn't I have just come home after the fight with Amy? Why couldn't my brain have stopped me from ever calling Liam?

This time I did not wait for Amy outside, I waited in my room. After all, we had to talk so I was pretty sure she'd be here any minute now and not in half an hour, which is when she picks me up.

I hear a faint knock on my bedroom door and I say, "Come in."

I'm currently just laying on my bed, looking up at the ceiling as my mind ran crazy.

The door creaks open and I soon feel the matress sink in a bit and an arm makes its way under my neck. I lift my head a bit so it is easier for her to put her arm around me and once I am sure she's all good, I lay my head on it. I turn to my side so that my back is to her and she scoots in closer to me, placing her other hand top of mine and intertwining our fingers.

I feel her kiss the back of my head and then I feel how she places her right cheek to my left one.

        God it felt so good.

Her touch made me feel all warm inside and a herd of butterflies stampeded their way into my stomach.

At this point my guilt had shown itself out the door and I was glad because right now all I wanted was to be able to fully enjoy this.

"So, last night sucked huh?" she chuckled.

        "Yeah, kind of."

"I am seriously really sorry for making you feel rejected."

"No, stop. Don't apologize. I don't know what came over me. Besides, I should be the one apologizing."

I know exactly why I had become upset but Amy didn't need to know the reason. She already felt bad and for something that she wasn't to blame for.

        She sighed, "Still."

        Silence.

        "I missed you Karma."

I laughed, "Amy, you saw me last night."

        "...After our fight."

"Let's just forget about that and enjoy this little moment before we have to head to school."

She let go of my hand only to rest it on my waist.

"About that... I was thinking we should skip and stay here."

I turned around, coming face to face with a grinning Amy.

        "You like that idea?"

With a big smile on my face I placed a hand on her face and said, "Do I like it? Yes. But will I agree to go through with it? No. Aims, we both know that skipping school is not in your nature, besides, your mom would kill you and I need you alive."

I recieve a quick peck on the lips.

        "I love you."

"And I love you," I respond.

Liam was blabbering away with Tony. An astonished Tony attentively listened as Liam told him all about his night.

"Tony, I am so about to win this bet in less than a week. I'm telling you man. Karma wouldn't have called me after her fight with Amy if she didn't feel anything for me."

"Dude, you do realize that you're basically saying that you were being a rebound, right?"

"I was not a rebound. She wants me Tony and she will so get me."

"So you two really almost have sex huh?"

"Yeah! I just finished telling you about how she called, went over to my house, and how we were in the verge of removing our clothes."

"Wow. I never thought Karma would cheat on Amy... Well, almost."

"That's because I am someone who the ladies can't resist. Not even the lesbians."

Lauren's POV:

I sat in my stupid history class when all of a sudden my phone vibrated in my pocket. I checked it and saw that Tony had sent me a text. It read "Meet me in the library, like now. I have more details on Liam and Karma."

I'm glad he new that I was being dead serious when I told him that he had to tell me everything Liam told him about Karma. I was going to have my sister's back.

I excused myself to go to the restroom and practically ran to the library. Since classes were in progress no one was in here and the librarian was most likely in the teacher's loungue doing nothing.

        "Tony," I loudly whispered.

He appeared out of nowhere, "Yeah. Come on, let's sit so I can tell you everything I found out."

We sat at the nearest table and he began talking. As he talked, my mouth dropped open. Karma almost had sex with Liam!?! What the heck was wrong with her!?! Was she mental or something?!?

I had to comfort Amy last night after she had ended the call with Karma. I heard how she blamed herself and hated herself for the fight. And what had Karma done? She had gone to Liam's house and threw herself at him!!!!

Earlier today, just before lunch, Amy had told me that her and Karma had made up and I honestly couldn't ruin that right now. Not after I saw how broken she was because of a stupid fight. But I sure as hell needed someone to discuss this with... I needed someone I could trust to keep it a secret and help me try to get prove.

After school, I waited, inpatiently to say the least, for Shane to come out of his last period. As soon as I saw him, I pulled him along and dragged him into the closest janitor's closet.

        "What the heck Lauren!"

"Shut up and listen very carefully," I said through gritted teeth.

        "Alright, sheesh."

        "Karma is cheating on Amy."

His eyes got big and he said, "What?"

I explained everything to him and I am glad that he felt the same way I felt... Infuriated.

"We can't tell Amy right now, she's too in love with Karma. We need to wait for the right time," he said.

Of course I agreed with him.

        "We need a plan Shane."

He nodded and so we devised a plan. We would keep an eye out for any suspicious movements or words from Karma and follow her if she mysteriously went somewhere. If we both weren't there, the one who was should take a picture of anything that would help us make Amy believe us whenever we confronted her. None of us would say a word of this to Amy, like at all, not until Karma screwed up big time... Like if she dared to kiss Liam again and lie about it to Amy.
