        "AMY!"

Karma woke up, covered in sweat and panting. Her dream had felt so real and it had crushed her. It was like her guilty conscience was making its way back.

Was her brain trying to let her know the consequences of her little white lie?

She didn't know and she didn't want to know. To her, telling Amy about Liam's little "stolen" kiss, had basically been a silent confession about how she had returned the kiss and had allowed him to kiss her.

Yes, Karma was lying to Amy but it was the only way she could lie to herself into becoming "guilty free." The guilt had begun to disappear, but it must not want to leave if it decided to sucker punch her in her own dream. Her dreams had always been cheerful, not once had she had such a horrific dream... Guilt had transformed one of the things she loved into a nightmare.

Well, guilt was not going to win because she was going to ignore it, ignore it until it got the clue that it wasn't needed or welcomed. She would simply keep her mind off of the whole "kissing" situation. Instead, she would make sure to remind Amy of how much she loved her and be happy.

As Amy slept, her mind making sure to tell her that she shouldn't be worrying over something as small as the slight possibility that her girlfriend could be keeping something from her. When and if Karma was ready to talk about it, she would, and then Amy would be there for her. But as they say, "it's easier said than done." So, she would just have to do her best to come to terms with that.

The next day as Amy pulled into Karma's driveway, she noticed the small brunette sitting on the floorstep of the house. A smile crept onto her face and she admired the girl from her car.

Karma looked up as she heard a car pull in and couldn't help but smile back at the blonde who was staring at her, with love written all over her eyes.

Amy turned the engine off, getting out of the car and making her way to Karma's side. As she sat down next to her, she said, "So, it looks like you're expecting someone huh?"

Karma rested her head on Amy's shoulder. "Yeah, my beautiful girlfriend is supposed to be picking me up for school."

Amy chuckled. "Well, she should hurry up then because I might just steal you away from her."

Karma's POV:

"....I might just steal you away from her."

Those words made my stomach upset. It was like she knew what I had done, but in reality she was just trying to tease me. I pushed away the terrible feeling in my stomach and smiled.

"You're pretty cute, but I'm sorry to say that my girlfriend is my love."

I picked up my head, looked at her, and waited for her to face me.

When she did, there was such a big smile on her face that my heart melted. I was so lucky to have her in my life and to be the owner of her heart. I couldn't and wasn't going to let a mistake ruin that and I was definitely not going to allow my guilt to ruin it.

        "Good morning beautiful," she said.

        "Good morning Amy."

"You ready to head to school?" she asked, standing up and extending her hand to me.
