I was always told by Hoseok that I was pretty even though no one else didn't think so. I hated myself all the way to high school, I had severe panic attacks and almost did commit suicide, somehow Hoseok stood by my side blindly helping me whenever I needed help.
"You're beautiful to me Hazel, believe me when I say this. It doesn't matter that others don't think so, as long as you have me you'll always be pretty"
After saying that he would pull me into a life squeezing hug and wouldn't let go until I finished crying. If I was crying at night he would be beside me holding my hand until I fell asleep. When I didn't eat food and forced me to eat because he didn't want me to develop unhealthy habits.
When I was always alone- he would be beside me- no matter what.
So it only made sense that when Luna easily commented "I think you're pretty", I didn't have much faith in her words but pulled my lips up into a smile and said 'thank you'.
Class ended and we shared contact info's and Luna said "Let's hang out sometime Hazel!" after running off to one of her guy friends.
I hooked my lip onto my teeth uneasily as I headed to the practice rooms where I am supposed to meet Yoongi. My steps slowed down as I heard laughter coming from the practice room. However, they sounded oddly familiar and I didn't know if I should open the door or not.
I sighed and slapped my face three times telling myself to get it together. I was about to open the door when someone else pushed it, I reflexively backed away. I was face to face with familiar brown hair and mature but caring eyes.
"Oh, Hazel", it was Namjoon, the guy from the train station. I tilted my head in confusion, why was Namjoon here out of all places?
"Namjoon?", I heard Yoongi's voice from the back "Looks like I wasn't late today Hazel, enter". Namjoon stepped aside as I made myself in.
"Hyung, you know Hazel?", the first thing I noticed was how messy the room looked. Unlike the other time I came here, the instruments were just placed in no particular order. Clarinets, Saxophone, and even Tuba cases weren't in their lockers. I was led to think that no one had cleaned this room... well it was either that or to believe that the school student were as trashy as they seemed.
"Why is the room so messy?" I picked up a pair of drumsticks that were lying on the floor. "The performing arts students have been a bit hyperactive lately" he stood up and gave me a smile, "I think they're at a competition right now which is probably why this looks messier than usual"
I nodded "But alas, this will suffice I hope". Namjoon moved to my side "So what are you doing here Hazel?" He asked curiously "And of caurse-" he looked at Yoongi "What's your relationship with Yoongi?"
Before I was able to speak, Yoongi jumped in and said "She asked me to give her piano lessons and we have no relationship whatsoever except-" Yoongi took a glance at me
"That we're acquaintances"
