Chapter 29: 6-10-2250 210 a.d.d

**kii-ea p.o.v**

Following Hendrix and Malaki out the rover I find myself doubting this idea. I currently have on light armor, my figure hidden until I reveal it.

"I can do this." I whisper to myself. Im nervous, more nervouse than ive ever been.

What is they don't like me? What if im not what they wanted?

"Don't hink like that cookie." A voice whispers in my ear. I turn to see Malaki behind me. Hes smiling brightly.

"Theyre going to love you. I promise." He kisses the top of my head and I can't help but blush.

Zed is trailing behind us until we walk to the crowd. I wave as we make out way to a small hill in the front of them.

Situating myself onto a small man-made ledge, I turn towards the crowd. Theyre all smiling and im sure they know whats about to happen.

"As you all know, tomorrow we embark to yazna. We embark to assist in making the town livable for these people. We embark to make peace and befriend them, we want them to know we mean no harm. To do this, I need something from you woman." The crowd begind to whisper.

"I know you all had to sign paperwork of discretion, holding you legally responsible for any leaks of information from this mission. Im here to tell you why."

"I don't want this towns people to be discovered, it has come to my attention that they are at risk for being whipped out just because they are different. I will NOT stand for that. But to win the trust of these people I need to meet them."

Again, the crowd begins to whisper and I can hear the enthusiasm they are spouting.

"As I trust you, Let me meet you all first." I began to remove my helmet, unlatching the tie under my chin.

Pulling the masks off was unlike any situation ive ever been in. I expected gasps and shouts, maybe in anger.

But I got silence, no one yelled at me, no on whispered. It was complete silence.

When I removed my mouth cover and pulled my hair out from my helmet and down my back I stood tall. Summoning my ice power to prove my identity.

Summoning my ice spear, I grabbed it from above my head slammed it to the floor with a loud thud echoing in the silence. It was then woman gasped.

"I am kii-ea, heir to the galactic federation. High princess and your trusted leader. I stand here now with nothing but honorto meet you all." I yell into the air.

"YEEEEAAA!!!" The women scream out. Some jumping in place and others clapping. Searching the faces before me I see older woman from my ship crying.

"Long live queen kii-ea!" A woman from my medical staff yells out, letting out a Martian howl into the air.

"Long live queen kii-ea!" They cheer together. I can't help but smile. My body trembling slightly with the love I feel in the air.

Why was I ever nervous about this? Why did I doubt the love of my people?
